The only place where he could take votes away from Hillary is in the primary elections. There is no way he could conceivably become the nominee of the Democratic Party.I think people are really tired of Hillary....He might not win but he could take a big part of her vote away.
Clinton honest, you have to joking. If Sanders takes even one vote from her in the primary..........It will be worth it.
what do you think? Does Sanders have a chance?
Hillary could crash and burn just as she did in 08, but it's hers to lose given current evidence.
Why? Those people will end up voting for Clinton in the GE. It gains you nothing. Sorry.
I'm torn whether Sanders helps Hillary, by making her appear to be a moderate Democrat, or hurts her by forcing her to move leftward without capturing the energy of the base.
I do not see Clinton moving leftward, no matter who else runs for the democratic nomination. She is too well defined now for the most part and any such move would look phoney anyway. Most likely, she does not need to move leftward, and especially not because of Sanders who likely will get a small portion of the vote.
I don't see anybody coming close to Hillary. Though, it would be nice to see at least a little competition there. I enjoy Primary debates. Always the best gaffes.
:raises eyebrow: did you miss the paeans to Warren, the decision to emphasize income inequality, the barfed-up attempt to produce a soundbite against "trickle down economics", etc? She's also done the full 180 from her couple-of-years-ago position on marriage, and is pushing the SSM message pretty solidly. Hillary's been trying to secure her left flank for a couple of months now.
I don't think this country is ready for a socialist for president but he sure could take some votes away from ther "Iron Maiden." Hillary
... I thought we weren't going to last 4 years of Obama?
Not necessarily. A depressed base = fewer votes.
Perhaps true with the right-wing....but sorry....left-wing voters are going to cast their votes for Hillary in the GE because we recognize that we are never going to get much more than a left-leaning moderate. That is just political reality...something that the right-wing doesn't really understand as well. I think moderate Republican voters get it, but the radical right-wing wants to push the party further to the right which truly does end up losing voters.
No, I do not think he has a chance to get a nomination that has already been negotiated, however
he can certainly bring forth discussion on all the issues that Big Money does not want in the Media.
He's a Democratic Socialist and that translates to somenone looking out for the interests of the
people, not the CORPORATIONS. A friggin' breath of fresh, uncorrupted air stepping into a steaming
cauldron of pig crap.
no but I think they will work together ....Hillary may ask him to be vice president. they will debate issues to the people
what do you think? Does Sanders have a chance?
Oh PLEASE ask Bernie Sanders isto be Vice President Hillary.
Pleeaase !! Imagine, a vive President who's dumber than Joe Biden.
Lol !!
How does Socialism look out for the interest of the people ? By destroying economies ?
Mismanaging what were once private run industries into bankruptcy ?
By running up massive amounts of unsustainable debt and refusing to pay back creditors ?
Bernie Sanders ideas are nothing new and its hard to believe people in this day and age buy into his rhetoric.
His policies would pull the plug on a American economy thats already on life support.
