You may not know this but PM Netanyahu's is up for re-election March 17. I heard journalist Ron Fournier on MSNBC's show say he though it was a campaign speech, do you agree?

Do you agree?

The liberal media has been squawking about the re-election stuff since the invitation was made over a month ago. No I don't agree.... but that's the narrative liberal media want to use to provide Obama and the Democrats cover. It's very predictable. What did Media Matters and Daily Kos say about it pete?

No I do not agree. I learned more during his speech about Iran and the middle east than I did under Obama in 6 years. Remember he was invited by the House, he did not invite himself.

I think it had some role. Keep in mind that the time he made his speech it was prime time back in Israel.

Media Matters doesn't cover news, they cover what their name suggests. I have no idea what Daily Kos says, why don't you check?

Oh I thought you would know - perhaps you do and just don't want to say.... either way no I won't check. I just took a shower and after going to that site I'd have to run a virus scan and shower all over again. Not worth it.

I am aware of his campaign, and as such everything he says publicly is with his re-election in mind. To me that's blindingly obvious, it's what politicians do.

And there is no doubt, the speech and it's delivery will affect the election's outcome in Israel.

But he mentioned nothing about his countries domestic needs, attitudes, but spoke to Americans about what his homeland faces every day. I would suggest that has more of an impact on American domestic politics more than the words he spoke affected his.

No.

This was his way of informing Congress and America the dangers of Iran and the crappy Iranian nuclear deal Obama/Kerry are working on.

What makes the deal crappy?

I thought the argument was that this speech was hurting his re-election chances. The truth is, this speech was seen to harm the great Obama. If he were here singing praises of the Great Leader, no one on the left would even mention that there was an election going on in Israel.

Democrats urgently want to divert from the topic of the speech itself.

Yes, it was a campaign speech - against Iran.

Sure, in part. It was also the warn out fear-mongering of a Muslim hating freak that's been lying about Iran for twenty five years now. And lied about our president while congress drooled all over him.
