Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Baloney. I realize it violates a leftist shibboleth to note this, but no attitude of anyone in the West had a damned thing to do with creating Muslim jihadism. It is a violent, supremacist creed that is rooted in the most orthodox texts of Islam, including the Koran. Civilized people are not to blame for the savagery these filthy sons of bitches engage in, any more than a woman is to blame for being raped because she wore a short skirt.

Next you'll be telling us that Hassan al-Banna's Muslim Brotherhood fomented riots and murdered Jews and Westerners in Cairo at the end of World War II because some Jew made a face at one of them and made him feel all icky, or that in the 1940's Ruhollah Khomeini and Mohammed Navab-Safavi organized their "Soldiers of Allah" to murder people because some mean racist made them feel invalidated.

I could not care less what any Muslim anywhere likes or does not like. If Europeans want to be the Islamists' butt boys, that's their business.

No, it violates nothing. The only thing that gets violated is our human spirit and human morality when we work with people who are racists. Again, the enemy of my enemy tactic usually does not work (if ever). History has taught us that.

We loose our humanity if we work with forces that defy and violate human rights on a daily basis, like racists do.

Sorry, but this has nothing to do with left or right, it has to do with not making our situation worse by working with racists. We all dislike jihadists, but I hate racists just as much.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Shouldn't this thread have been titled " This group is ****ing racist man, now prove me wrong"

If they are "racist" that are no more so then groups like La Raza or the Black Panthers.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

This Pegida supporter possibly hadn't seen a real horse before. He doesn't seem friendly toward it.

This man and the horse actually fell in love and were married 6months after this photo was taken.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Look at the EDL, this started off in the UK because of similar concerns but quickly attracted extremists and fascists looking for a fight. That too was labelled as a racist movement very quickly by establishment figures and its members were also labeled as scum or lowlifes.

the fact it eventually became a racist organisation does not blur that its inception was from a legitimate concern - your 3 keys were similar then and now. Tommy Robinson (who eventually left when Combat 18 and other people infiltrated and kept being put back in) was the leader and widely accused of racism. The EDl was accused of association with racist movements like the BNP despite Tommy Robinson repeatedly stating that he wanted nothing to do with the BNP and similar movements.

As for reactions from the populace, same thing again - media and more "left wing" groups quickly labeled it as scum or racist.

Your key test I'm afraid is invalid. And as a poster you think you discredited accurately pointed out - it has and will attract racists. That is inevitable but so it seems is the equally invalid response you will start to see on this thread and elsewhere to try and paint legitimate concern as extremism.

Appears a substantial number of racists gravitated to EDL then UKIP.
Must have been the cologne they used.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Well naturally since the idiot was trying to imitate that same mustached man. Holy **** that's stupid. And no the majority of PEGIDA protesters aren't bigoted as far as I can tell so your point? It's nonexistent per usual.

Really?

And where are your statistics from an unbiased source to back up that claim?

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Yeah I take the words of people live near the no go zone over people like you who claim they do not exist...

Then take the word from me, I used to live in Birmingham, UK, which is supposedly some no go zone. It's not.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

No, it violates nothing. The only thing that gets violated is our human spirit and human morality when we work with people who are racists. Again, the enemy of my enemy tactic usually does not work (if ever). History has taught us that.

History has not taught me any such thing. You don't even have to go back too many decades to find an example that contradicts your claim. Everyone knows what a despicable, murdering son of a bitch Josef Stalin was. Moreover, he detested Jews and Ukrainians, among other groups, purely because of what they were. But as soon as his Soviet Union began fighting Hitler's Germany in June, 1941, Roosevelt and Churchill both knew they had to hold their noses and cooperate with him.

Stalin was the enemy of Germany, and that made him our friend for the next four years--an ally of convenience. Your "human spirit and human morality" would have been violated one hell of a lot more if the U.S. and Britain had loftily declined to form an alliance with the USSR because Stalin was a mass-murdering tyrant, and the Nazis had won the war as a result. And they almost certainly would have won it, but for that alliance.

We loose our humanity if we work with forces that defy and violate human rights on a daily basis, like racists do.

A racist does not necessarily violate anyone's rights, ever, let alone daily. Anyone has a perfect right to hate the living guts of anyone else, because of his race or for any other reason, just as he damn well pleases. When your house is on fire, you don't turn down the help of the guy down the block even if you know he's a drunken thief who cheats on his wife. If there are Europeans who are willing to fight the Muslim jihadist curs who have infested their continent, I am not too concerned with whether they are the kind of people I'd like to invite to dinner. We are in a tight spot, and the will to fight counts more than manners.

We all dislike jihadists

What I feel for yellow lice who decapitate and bury alive young children, kidnap and torture innocent people to death solely because of their religion, and burn prisoners alive in cages goes very far beyond dislike. I hope any Muslims in Europe who condone that kind of savagery are deported or interned on some remote island.

Really, how did that work out in the end? Decades of cold war, even now the relationship with Russia remains strained at best and down right conflicted at worst.

The enemy of my enemy almost worked for Adolf, until he double crossed them as soon as they lost their value to him. Stalin did the same, he was an enemy of Hitler so he worked with another enemy and that may have ended one war but started a lot of other wars, conflicts and as said, one big scare cold war.

America was helped by the Soviets to end the threat of Germany but a bigger threat was created. With all the military aid of the US supporting them, the Soviets created an army that was equal or even greater than the Allied forces standing across from them.

The Soviets were able to blast out weapons at an astonishing rate, tanks, planes and guns were produced immensely fast. They took over half of Europe and quickly developed their own nuclear weapons.

Sorry, but it was not that great a success either. Also, I said almost never works. They may work in the short time, but usually in the long run they may created more problems than they solved.

A racist does not necessarily violate anyone's rights, ever, let alone daily. Anyone has a perfect right to hate the living guts of anyone else, because of his race or for any other reason, just as he damn well pleases. Sorry, but a racist is a racist 24/7 and 365 days a year. Well, no, there is no perfect right to hate the living guts of other people based on race, religion or sex, or whatever other reason. I hate jihadi scum because they kill people, I hate racists for the racism that they cause and the violence that they often commit. Again, you may not have an issue with it but I will be damned if I team up with racist scum to defeat jihadist scum. I would rather do that working with actually decent human beings.

Well, I may also hate the isis scum, but I would much more advocate them leaving on their own accord because we and their fellow muslims should make them realize that their is no place for jihadist violence in Europe.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Well, no, there is no perfect right to hate the living guts of other people based on race, religion or sex, or whatever other reason.

That may well be the case in many other countries, where the government dispenses what passes for rights. Too bad for them. But as an American, I live in a free country. And part of that freedom is that any person here may hate the living guts of anyone he damn well pleases, for any reason whatever--the person's race, religion, sex, or the way they part their hair. If someone else thinks that bigotry is wrong, he's free to condemn it--but the bigot is just as free to ignore the condemnation and go right on hating.

We have due process of law here, and that means, among other things, that our laws punish only actions, not thoughts. There is no law that says anyone has to like anyone else or have anything to do with them. I'm sure that is anathema to leftists everywhere, who want to force everyone to do the things they think are kind, noble, and wonderful--or else. To hell with the bossy little prigs.

Well, I may also hate the isis scum, but I would much more advocate them leaving on their own accord because we and their fellow muslims should make them realize that their is no place for jihadist violence in Europe.

Suppose they don't want to leave. Maybe they think Europe is just the place for jihadist violence. Maybe they have plans to make it part of Allah's realm as soon as they outnumber the locals, and force them to do whatever they say. What will you do then, fall on your knees and plead with them to be nice to you? If you are counting on their fellow Muslims to talk sweet reason to them, you are fooling yourself.

Apparently he is ready to support neo-Nazis just to help throw Muslims under the bus. Pure hypocrisy.

It is so sad how quickly fear turns to hate.

Apparently, Mein Kampf is going back into reprint in Germany.

Though I am for free speech, the timing seems to not be coincidental.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

So you want me to prove a negative? You and logic ain't the closest friends are you?
If you believe that they are racist in their nature then you will prove it, until I see such proof I am not convinced that they are, period.

So they're neo-Nazis now? Seriously?
And who talked about ordinary Muslims here?
You constantly engage in strawmans to defend your agenda which goes to show how sickeningly illogical it is.
If you can prove that they are racists then go ahead and do so, since you haven't I take it as an admittance that they aren't and your post as a pure and simple example of your usual lies.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

It seems like there is no part of PEGIDA that doesn't have some racial element. There are its leaders:

hitler_3172611b.jpg

Who have espoused views such as these ones:

Pegida leader resigns after photograph of him posing as Adolf Hitler emerges - Telegraph

Then there are the people who support both PEGIDA and Golden Dawn:

It's also important to mention that the reaction to PEGIDA has been pretty strong:

Around 35,000 Germans rally in Dresden against racism and xenophobia | Reuters

So with that said, do you believe PEGIDA is a racist movement pretending not to be? I made the choices Yes or No. This poll supposes that you actually know about these organizations.

There are many xenophobic groups like this in the USA.

Mostly they claim that they're not racist - they just want to keep those who aren't White Christians out of the USA.

Let's judge them by what they do, eh?

LOL you support a group with a leader who calls asylum seekers scumbags, stupid cows and trash and then made a self portrait of himself as Hitler- you do know what Hitler did to Jews right? Apparently you dont care. Perhaps you ought to go to your barber and get the same moustache since you admire PEGIDA so much.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

LOL you support a group

Movement.

with a leader

Is he? To my best knowledge he's not the leader anymore.

who calls asylum seekers scumbags, stupid cows and trash and then made a self portrait of himself as Hitler

I've never shown support for that racist, xenophobic asshole.

you do know what Hitler did to Jews right? Apparently you dont care.

Lie.

Perhaps you ought to go to your barber and get the same moustache since you admire PEGIDA so much.

So I'm Hitler now. Got it.
You clearly have issues.
You wish to paint anyone who takes part at the PEGIDA movement as a racist? Go ahead and do so. But try doing so without engaging in your usual lies that are meant to cover for your sickeningly immoral agenda to defend radical Islam and attack anyone who confronts it.

Well good for you, as said, every nation/people gets to choose what laws and civil rights they want enforced. People can think personally and privately think and say what they want, but when they say it publicly to discriminate and hate monger/promote racist behavior and violence, then the law says that this is illegal and I love living in a country where the most horrendous racist comments can be prosecuted. Most racist words would most likely not get prosecuted, the media and the public will nail his/her hide to the wall.

Suppose they don't want to leave. Maybe they think Europe is just the place for jihadist violence. Maybe they have plans to make it part of Allah's realm as soon as they outnumber the locals, and force them to do whatever they say. Well, as long as they do not break any laws that make it legal to remove them, then they will be able to stay. Especially if they have a Dutch/German/French/English passport/nationality. The grounds for removing the nationality from someone are very limited, terror for example or better yet, fighting for a foreign terrorist group is grounds for loss of passport.

And last time nobody here has fallen to their knees for the terrorists, nor will we ever.

Btw...this is from Wikipedia:

'Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West[note 1] (German: Patriotische Europäer gegen die Islamisierung des Abendlandes), abbreviated PEGIDA and Pegida, is a German right-wing anti-Islam[1][2][3] political organization founded in Dresden in October 2014. It has been organizing weekly demonstrations against what it considers the islamization of the Western world, calling for more restrictive immigration rules, particularly for Muslims.'

'Growing weekly counter-protests all over the country started to outnumber Pegida protesters in January 2015. German politicians, clergy and industry leaders have called PEGIDA xenophobic and islamophobic'

Pegida - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sounds extremely prejudiced to me.

I mean how pathetic can you be to start judging all people strictly by their religion?

This is just another group of morons and/or hate-filled people who haven't got the guts to fix their own problems, so they conveniently blame others for all that is wrong. Just like Nazi's and the KKK and every group of prejudiced losers.

Yup. Whats disturbing is that the people who defend this group keep saying its not racist yet if you substitute blacks or Jews with what this group labels as Muslim it would be completely unacceptable by anyone yet because its Muslims they are targeting then in their minds it makes it OK. And the only reason their leader quit was because he got exposed by the German media- if it wasnt for that he would still be leading this group.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

..No they are White nations, they always have been. Yes Islam is such a regime.

I am fine with a few, but when a alien race is set to over come the population of a nation then it is a problem.

Arabs have no right or claim to Europe, it belongs to the people of each and every nation, but nothing.

You do know that in about 30 years non-Hispanic Whites will no longer be the majority of the USA's population, eh?

What do you plan to do about that?

Fill us in.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Wow, you found 4 cops in a no-go zone when I stated that a lot of cops do not go out of fear. Totally blew all those videos away...
And of course there are police stations there. It is not ISLAMIST CONTROLLED.
Cops do face opposition when trying to STOP CRIME.
they do not face opposition for BEING COPS.

That's going on all over this planet in every country. The cops are on one side and the bad guys are on the other side.

This has been going on since people climbed down out of the trees, it's nothing new.

Re: Is PEGIDA a racist movement pretending not to be?

Bachmann is not the leader anymore. A group is more than its leader especially when the group is organising public demonstrations.

Hundreds of thousands of Germans have turned out to oppose immigration and Islam and the effect it has had on their nation. There's nothing fringe or radical about the movement.

Millions of Germans supported the Nazis. How are the Nazi's doing now?
