Fox News posts the ISIS propaganda video on their website.

Good or bad thing to do

Considering the person in question was a military captive, I'd appreciate they had the balls to let friends see how he died, and what the things who created the video are all about.
Excessive, and stupid nerve(balls) translates into EVIL .. and we have enough of this !

I'm with others who say it depends on their reasoning. If they are doing simply because it is news and they think people have a right to know what's really going on, then I don't have a problem with it. If they are doing it because they know people will watch it and it will drive ad revenue on their site, or if they just want to find more ways to criticize the President, then I have a serious problem with it.

Since I'll never know what their reasoning is, I'll just hope it was posted for the news value and nothing else.
I believe in love overcoming hate ..To that end; we should fund a Pope Francis news channel to counter Fox and all the other sensational based "news" .

Not to worry. There are some exceptional people who might be able to save you when evil doesn't respond to your loving outreach.

This has nothing to do with my husband getting hit by a train. The subject of the poll isn't "How should the family of the man who was burned alive feel about a video being released and morbid people watching it".

No ****ing kidding!

It's obvious you don't want to play with my hypothetical, so to me, you're not being honest. My point (which went over your head (?)) is that if someone is okay with FoxNews offering this propaganda piece for all to see, then they give no two **** about protecting the family and friends of the man that was burnt to death, or, at the very least, being respectful. I was trying to offer a comparable analogy, to make it "more close to home," with hopes that my point would a incite lightbulb moment. Looks like a miserable fail.

I never watched the video. I also never looked at pictures of a dead Sharon Tate. I also didn't watch the videos of the poor innocent people jumping off the World Trade Center towers. I also didn't look at pictures of a dead Suddam Hussein.

That is you. Most do.

I don't watch this kind of thing so I don't care who puts it out there. Ask those who watch it the emotional questions.

I get it. If a video of a close friend or family member being burnt to death ever makes it's way onto a popular website, it would be fine with you because you do not watch. Truly, I got it.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Pentagon says American hostage Kayla Jean Mueller died at the hands of Islamic State and not in a Jordanian airstrike targeting the militant group. Navy Rear Adm. John Kirby was asked Tuesday if there was any doubt who killed the aid worker. He replied: "No doubt. ISIL," using the initials the group is known by.

Without batting an eyelash, you couldnt WAIT to toss out the ISIS propaganda line. Lets see...a group of savage assholes that have been butchering men women and children, that are on video crushing childrens heads in with rocks, that gleefully behead people in the glorious name of Allah, and that recently torched a human being rushed to blame the death of a hostage on retaliation. Gosh...if only those eeeeevil Jordanians hadnt responded....she would still be alive. And you swallowed hard.

I cannot even begin to express how ****ing pathetic it is that people like you are so consumed in your hatred of a news agency that you would actually repeat the propaganda lies of a terror organization.

The end result of ISIS releasing that video was not a propaganda gain for ISIS. It was a complete and total failure. IT inspired those previously silent to finally raise their voice. IT shocked and horrified people out of their silence. Rather than simply admit the truth...you spew your hatred of Fox News and repeat a propaganda lie spoon feed to you be terrorists.

Sorry, Vance, it's not being idiotic coming to the conclusion that she could have died in the bombing. Your over-the-top reaction is quite comical.

And my pointing out that FoxNews is being classless and idiotic by posting this propaganda piece and murder for all to see, has nothing to do with hatred. However, it has everything to do with common sense and decency. They are making the 4chan pukes look classy.

Come now. In your zeal to trash Fox News over 'propaganda' for ISIS, you offered...propaganda FROM ISIS.

You call it classless...I call it necessary. All of a sudden people have their eyes open and are actually willing to engage an enemy. Meanwhile, that same enemy has been doing far more brutal things for 2 years...and no one sees anything, no one says anything. Ooops...I take it back. People DO say something. They say..."Yeah...but CHRISTIANS did it too 700 years ago..."

It was a fail because you're posting to the wrong person.

If that man in the video was my husband, the fact that it's on Fox News' website or any website wouldn't mean anything to me. I wouldn't care about that. I'd care that my husband was burned alive.

If you want to complain that Fox isn't respecting the family of the man in the video, then fine. That doesn't have anything to do with me. I don't agree or disagree with that. It's your opinion. I don't have an opinion on it.

Eye roll all you like but I respect people who avoid playing hypothetical....it's no more than intellectual masturbation, but that's what we've come to expect from your posts

Yes, all of a sudden--because FoxNews has the wherewithal to post a video of a guy burning to death--people now realize that ISIS is really bad.

But you do have an opinion. An opinion of not caring whether a video posted on a website for all to see of someone you care about brutally dying. You said it yourself.

No...All of a sudden because the world paid attention, ISIS became sort of public enemy number one and the Imams and other Muslim leaders roundly condemned them Citizens united against them. Because ISIS showed the world who they were and the world saw them in all their ugly brutality for the first time.

Fox News didnt show the world that. Fox News showed America that. And you are so warped in your hatred that instead of truly seeing ISIS, you vent your spleen on the 'real' enemy. The 'world' sees ISIS. You see Fox News.

Thats just sad.

Your posts are usually not this disingenuous.

I said I have no opinion on Fox posting this video. I said I can't speak for the family of this man who was burned alive. I said that if he was my husband I would care that he was burned alive, not who watched him get burned alive in a video posted on the Fox News website (or any other website for that matter).

You've been trying repeatedly to get me to share your intense dislike of Fox posting this video on their website, even going so far as bringing my husband into it. I'm too smart to apply emotional hypotheticals to something that I have no opinion on.

Fox reported. You decide. But don't expect me to say whether Fox reporting was good or bad in this situation. I don't have any opinion on it. I never watched the video and it doesn't affect me if you do. Your choice.

That's all of a sudden? I think the world took note long ago.

ISIS became sort of public enemy number one and the Imams and other Muslim leaders roundly condemned them Citizens united against them. Because ISIS showed the world who they were and the world saw them in all their ugly brutality for the first time.

Let me get this straight....

You're saying that the video published on the FoxNews site has allowed the world -- for the first time! -- to see that ISIS are a bunch of crazy murderous lunatics? Is that your stance???

Fox News didnt show the world that. Fox News showed America that.

Huh??? Now the world knows but Americans don't? You're all over the place, Vance.

And you are so warped in your hatred that instead of truly seeing ISIS, you vent your spleen on the 'real' enemy. The 'world' sees ISIS. You see Fox News.

Are you ****ing kidding me? Trust me, FoxNews would be without my critique on this matter had they not published a video of someone being burned to death.

Tell me, Vance, if you so strongly feel that this is the only way Americans and the world would take notice of ISIS and their murderous ways, then why didn't Fox publish the video of James Foley getting his head chopped off? You must think they really missed the boat on that one, eh! But rest-assured, in consistent fashion, I will put aside my silly rage against FoxNews and applaud them for not doing so!

Way to go, FoxNews!!!! i:bravo:

Thats just sad.

Thinking that posting videos that would make 4chan retards vomit, is waaaaaay, way sadder.

Yes, that is exactly what I got. It does not matter to you that video depicting a murder is open available for all to see on a news website. Got it... no need to sugar coat it.

So you need to watch the video to make an opinion? You know the content.... so it's you who is being disingenuous, my friend.

Don't be pissed at me because your attempt to get me to join you in an attack on Fox News failed.

I'm apparently no different than a lot of other people who don't really care either. You & pete may want to start a club.

Fox reported. You decided. Isn't that their tagline "We report. You decide."? They reported.

I get it… you don't care. No need to reiterate it a million times.
