I don't know if he should be fired or not but does this surprise anybody really?
This is what happens when news is about ratings and profits and they (news orgs) decided to make that change quite some times ago and we (the people) let them and will continue to let them.

Aren't the two highest rated news orgs MSNBC and FOX? That's all the proof you need, both those stations are completely full of **** hahahaha

First off playing the FOX card is SOP for liberals and secondly your assertion that MSNBC is comparable to FOX shows how uninformed you are. FOX has great ratings while MSNBC barely survives. What a great example of a liberal reciting an untrue talking point like a trained parrot.

"For the third quarter of 2014, Fox News not only humiliated its leftwing cable news counterparts at CNN and MSNBC during the all-important primetime hours, Fox News also beat all of cable — all hundred or so cable channels, including perennial winners ESPN and USA. THR rightly describes this as a “historic cable ratings victory.”

Here are the third quarter primetime numbers:

FNC: 1,797,000 viewers, up 12 percent (313,000 adults 25-54, up 12 percent)
CNN: 555,000 viewers, up 2 percent (186,000 adults 25-54, up 4 percent)
MSNBC: 557,000 viewers, down 2 percent (150 adults 25-54, down 21 percent)
HLN: 352,000 viewers, down 4 percent (120 adults 25-54, down 12 percent)

In total primteime viewers, Fox nearly doubled the leftwing CNN and MSNBC combined. In demo viewers, Fox earned almost as many as CNN and MSNBC combined. Fox is also up 12% over this same quarter last year. MSNBC sunk a whopping 21%.

Regardless of ratings both are crap "news" networks not to be trusted, if you think either are trust worthy the only thing that shows is how uninformed you are. I've actually never met anybody, out side of the internet. that thought either were trust worthy.

You were wrong about the ratings and you are wrong now. Stop being a left wing talking point parrot.

To bad I'm an independent who leans right. Keep trying though you may convince somebody, doubtful but try anyway, the board needs entertainment. .

I'm usually against people in the media being fired for things they say. However, in this case, I do think he needs to be fired, because what he said directly impacts his job performance. His job is to deliver the news, and to do that effectively, people have to be able to trust what he tells them. That's difficult to do now that it's been proven that he lied about something big like this.

Many left wingers label themselves independents but when you parrot left wing talking points you rat yourself out.

And what "left wing talking point" are you referring to, I can't wait to read this.

Is being First Lady really holding an office? ;)

Traditionally they play a large administrative role in purely civic functions. In the last 100 years they have become diplomats.
