I need to test this theory about who would prefer Sarah to throw her "hat" into the ring. This was inspired by a thread on the subject that was started by someone that describes himself as liberal.

So, how do people feel about a potential Sarah Palin presidential run:

....and, to borrow the style of US Conservative (no royalties are due)....

1) I am a left leaning American, I say "Run, Sarah, Run"
2) I am a left leaning American, I don't think Sarah will run, she just wants attention
3) I am a left leaning American, I think Sarah should go back to Alaska
4) I am a right leaning American, I say "Run, Sarah, Run"
5) I am a right leaning American, I don't Sarah will run, but I wish she would
6) I am a right leaning American, I think Sarah should just sit down and shut up
7) none of the above --- I'm just lurking

I personally think she would add color to a campaign that will already have plenty of color...

I do not fit any of your potential options. She is welcome to run if she chooses to. I would prefer she did not as her policies would to my mind damage America and stranger things than her winning have happened. However, she is not obligated, nor should she, listen to what I want. Free country, she fits all the qualifications the constitution lists to run, so she can if she wants.

I'm sorry you don't like those things, to each his own.

correct i dont like sarah's non hot face and non hot body
im sorry you think 5s are hot, you are free to have her

at 50 she is "good looking" for her age on a scale from 1-10 she is a 5 at her best, probably lower not all dolled up

Hahaha, the fact that you feel the need to denigrate her is funny. I don't care what she does, it's just fun to watch the Sarah-haters.

Hahaha, whatever.

I'm not interested in any Palin candidacy...but I find Palin Derangement Syndrome fascinating. Let's see how long this thread becomes. ;)

I find it amusing when someone ridicules others for posting in a thread by putting a post in it. But I do agree let's see how long this thread becomes.

I don't want to rehash the same old crap about the same old crap so I will share with you a line from a local radio DJ. "You can buy anything without feeling embarrassed if you include a birthday card with that purchase"

Keep this thread going.

She hasn't a prayer. She should just go home.

Like anyone else in this country, she's free to run. In fact, I would encourage her to run same as I would encourage anyone else to run. I thought most of us were sick of the establishment picking candidates? Shouldn't everyone at least try to get the nomination? I think we need the outsiders to start challenging the status quo.

Would I vote for her? No. But that isn't the same thing as do I think she should run.

[emphasis added by bubba to identify the proposed location of an edit]

allow me to suggest a minor edit: substitute ODOR for color

had to smile when i learned that sarah's teleprompter quit operating, turning her speech into a trainwreck. would think Obama might get a chuckle out of that one, too

and then there is this for all of the teabagger evangelists
what makes you think the antiChrist has to be a man.jpg

I have an idea! How about a Trump/Palin ticket? That would be very entertaining.:lamo

You thought whatever. Figures.

but you didnt figure, you thought that I thought i must denigrate, you were wrong ans thats way your straw man failed. Glad you figured out your mistake though. Good job!

I miss Herman Caine.

Nine niiiiiine NIIIIIIIIIINE!

Can we get Herman to run again?

Maybe a Palin/Caine ticket? That would be awesome. NP's dream ticket.

Would also be a dream ticket of most Dems. Hillary could probably trounce that "dynamic duo" without having to raise a dime.

I'm Canadian. I miss Dubya. Sarah Palin in a federal campaign would help ease my feelings of loss.

Ah, come on, we love Sarah here....

She hunts, she takes her kids to hockey practice, what could be more Canadian.

And she shops in Vancouver now and again...

Run for president. Why not? It's a clown act anyway

Can you imagine a Hilary v. Palin debate? That would be classic.

I'd like her to run. For two reasons. She is an extremist with the Tea Party. Her views are about as indicative of the most ignorant and hardcore right wingers as possible. This means that her presence (as well as other absurd extremists) in the race will either drag the whole Republican field to the right, making them less palatable to the middle voters, helping Democrats win. Or, the right will reject her for the loony she is and move away from the religious fundamentalists, the anarchist libertarians, and the racists. Either way, the county wins by moving its political center away from the extreme right.

I hope she doesn't run, I think this next election cycle is going to be full up on stupid, we don't need to add more.
