As I indicated, we can look for two-fers. Obama is a black-white, kenyan-Hawaiian, Muslim-Christian and possibly gay depending on which stories you believe. He is like a 7-fer

Kerist, don't take this the wrong way, but sounds like terms SA used under apartheid.
I had no idea of what 2 two-fer-three fers meant.

It means people who fulfil more than one category. For instance, under affirmative action, if a company needs to hire more blacks and women, they look for a black woman because she satisfies both requirements.

OK a little more clear.
I had asked a question about white civil rights leaders? Thoughts are?

I indicated I was fine with that I thought. Anyway, Just stick some ACLU type on the nickel. Thomas Jefferson was a con artist.

Appears you give white rights leaders short shrift?

I call them like I see them.

Were they of lesser importance to the civil rights movement? This is referring to MLK and others.
Then you have a number of white civil rights leaders that preceded MLK.

I don't know who the "others" are to comment upon unless you name them. Civil Rights is not just about Black Rights. Susan B. Anthony has been on the coin, for instance. While I consider Cesar Chavez of huge importance to civil rights albeit more collaterally thank MLK, I would not expect to see him ever put on US currency in my lifetime.

The long and short of it is that I was just having fun with you. I could care less about who is on our money. I would far rather Old Faithful or the Grand Canyon or the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier be on the One Dollar bill than any person, President or otherwise. Put Putin on it for all that I care if we must have a face on it.

I was hoping that you would start trying to figure out how to overlay racial demographics onto our current coinage mathematically and then start trying to decide which Presidents must go to make room for other people. The mint I think is all for new coins--the more collectors collect, the less money is in circulation, so they can mint/print even more.

No, I was not falling into an ethnic ratio. Just a hornets nest.
As to presidents, except George W. Spin them all thru on a recycle basis.
We presntly have the same issue on our bill up here. White & male for the most if not all.

Re: Should we put black civil rights and historical figures on our currency? Read fir

You're having trouble with your silly insinuations, aren't you?

:lamo

No, but you're having trouble understanding what an insinuation is. That quote had a question, followed by a deduction, followed by a question. No insinuation to be found.

Silly....:2razz:

Re: Should we put black civil rights and historical figures on our currency? Read fir

Maybe it's just me, but I absolutely dont care who is on our currency, nor their skin color.

Yeppers!!! I think that we should go with muscle cars and bikini models.

Re: Should we put black civil rights and historical figures on our currency? Read fir

... Hmmm... interesting. Muddy the conversation and turn one race against another so that minorities stay off the currency in the meantime. It's better to go in historical order and put black folks on the currency before we start discussing the contributions of other people who are still being attacked and reviled today. It's not as if the pro-states-right-wing of this country would even consider discussing a supposed commie like Chavez 22 years after his death. Let's focus on the groups of people they've stopped trying to revile.

Now, let's get back to you...

You've accuse me of turning one race against the other.

You said better to go in historical order and put BLACK FOLKS on the currency before we start discussing OTHER PEOPLE.

Now, as you've tried to weasel your way around this, what does this tell people? C'mon, look at the context clues. Were you speaking of another PERSON i.e. Chavez or were you talking about other PEOPLE, i.e Latinos?

You then go on to speak of one individual who i used which is grand, however leading up to that isolated individual of whom I used as merely an example of a Latino historical/civil rights figure, we were/are speaking on race and not individuals, remember, I'm supposedly pitting races against each other not individuals but people, are you still with me? I hope so, I'd hate to have to spank you again.

Now what did you say of these other people? they're "still being attacked and reviled today." Who'd you go back to? Chavez, leading a thinking person to conclude you're saying the other people are Latino's. You think because you gave reason why Chavez would be reviled allows you to escape the context of what was previously said in the context it was said. It don't. But let's continue -- with you're politically charged "pro-states right-wing" antagonists, who are being reviled and attacked? Latinos? No no, they're being pandered to. Illegals? Yes. Most certainly. And are we hearing of the great uprising from prostate right wingers in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Washington, Wisconsin, Maine, Vermont, Michigan sick to death of all those dirty Canadians? No. California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas. That's where the pro-statesrights right wingers are having a conniption. And what borders those States? Mexico!!!!!! and what does Mexico have? MEXICANS!!!! Of course, but more aptly described? Latinos. Now, are the state rights right wingers reviling and attacking Latinos in Mexico? No. Are they reviling and hating on, attacking Latino's who are American? No, we've already said that these Latinos are being pandered to. So who must they be attacking? Who is reviled? ILLEGALS.

So, what was a poor little country plowboy like myself to deduce?

Latino's are reviled? Oh, you're confusing Latino's with Illegals. All Latino's are illegals in your book?

You thought latino's were reviled? No, that's not true they're being pandered to. You must be confused, you must be talking about the terrible illegal immigration our country faces that only states rights right wingers seem to care about. I then asked, to make sure I wasn't mistaken in catching your mistake by ASKING not insinuating, never insinuating, but ASKING if "All Latino's are illegals in your book?"

This is the conversation and the context in which it was presented. Not the BS you're trying to pass off now.

Hat. Hand. Door.

Good Day.:2wave:

You're still trying to justify your ridiculous insinuation? When I discussed people who were reviled, I was addressing Cesar Chavez. You tried to expand it to be something about all hispanics. Now, you could have saved yourself the embarrassment and diatribe with some simple reading comprehension. However, you didn't and now I have to destroy you with some right wing views on Cesar Chavez that would make placing him on any currency an issue of debate. That you doubled down on your ridiculousness really says volumes about how you've tried to muddy this issue by throwing out people you know the right wing doesn't like. Hell, here are some of the "nicer" things they've said about Cesar Chavez:

Chavez on Google sparks right-wing anger, stupidity on Twitter

Michelle Malkin said:
Yep. While two billion Christians around the world celebrate Easter Sunday on this 31st day of March, Google is using its famous “Doodle” search logo art to mark the birth of left-wing labor leader Cesar Chavez.

For real:

Christians from all walks of life and political views expressed shock, dismay, and exasperation with Google’s diss:

Sean Hannity Spreads Dangerous Misinformation about California Water | California Progress Report

In April, the same organization sponsoring Hannity’s visit held a "March for Water" that Arturo Rodriguez, president of the United Farm Workers Union founded by Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta, denounced for not representing the interests of farmworkers, but only the growers. The New York Times on April 17 reported that "many of the protesters were paid by their employers to march in lieu of harvesting crops.”

The post-racial America of Ann Coulter and Pat Buchanan - The Washington Post

Pat Buchanan said:
“Old heroes like Columbus and Robert E. Lee may be replaced on calendars by Martin Luther King and Cesar Chavez,” he complains.

Beck Compares Navy Naming Ship For Cesar Chavez To Naming Ship For Stalin, Says USS Sanger “Cannons” Would “Shoot Out Fetuses”

Glenn Beck shows once again that any clown can have a microphone in this country.

He certainly is exercising his right to say what he wants, as we shall exercise our right in denouncing his harmful and dangerous vitriol. – Axel Caballero

Glenn Beck wants a street named after Rush Limbaugh - Salon.com

Beck, who was broadcasting from Utah, wondered “what Cesar Chavez Boulevard has to do with Salt Lake City,” continuing that he “is not going to take it sitting down,” and urging listeners to fight back against the existence of streets named after the labor and civil rights leader.

In short, what do we gather from this? For the right wing, Cesar Chavez is a left wing idol. Not somebody they'd simply allow on currency without their usual smears of socialism and other nonsense. Hell, they complain when his name is put on a city street. Now, I'm sure you knew this because your intention was clear. Throw out names of other minorities (including the ones hated by the right) and continue to muddy the issue so that minorities never get on the currency. You fooled nobody. As for the rest of your post: tl/dr.

In short, you're a context jumper. I've shown plainly where you screwed the pooch. You keep accusing me of insinuating when I've been nothing but straight forward. All the rest of this BS is a sideshow trying to cover up your blunder.

You'll undoubtedly carry on once again making baseless accusations and try to divert attention but the end result is the same. You've screwed up.

Now, please, have the last word, this one was mine.

Obama should be on the $1000 bill, since because of him the rich have been using stacks of cash as toilet paper.

What about non black civil rights leaders?

Isn't all the money already that?

Hat. Hand. Door.

Since you support White Solidarity (a civil, if not rights movement), perhaps you could recommend some of those leaders?

White Solidarity- Really- How did you arrive at that conclusion? Show me the posts that support that premise.
White Solidarity, Is that an offshoot of Stormfront.

I quoted someone else, not you, above that question. Ask Chez; he'll tell you White Solidarity is good. And he answered my question. He considers those people to be leaders of White Solidarity.

He's referring to my long standing position that white solidarity isn't any more or less racist than any other race using their racial identity as a praxis for solidarity.

He thinks the blue eyed white devil is special in that regard...

How funny is that?
