Re: Should we put black civil rights and historical figures on our currency? Read fir
... Hmmm... interesting. Muddy the conversation and turn one race against another so that minorities stay off the currency in the meantime. It's better to go in historical order and put black folks on the currency before we start discussing the contributions of other people who are still being attacked and reviled today. It's not as if the pro-states-right-wing of this country would even consider discussing a supposed commie like Chavez 22 years after his death. Let's focus on the groups of people they've stopped trying to revile.
Now, let's get back to you...
You've accuse me of turning one race against the other.
You said better to go in historical order and put BLACK FOLKS on the currency before we start discussing OTHER PEOPLE.
Now, as you've tried to weasel your way around this, what does this tell people? C'mon, look at the context clues. Were you speaking of another PERSON i.e. Chavez or were you talking about other PEOPLE, i.e Latinos?
You then go on to speak of one individual who i used which is grand, however leading up to that isolated individual of whom I used as merely an example of a Latino historical/civil rights figure, we were/are speaking on race and not individuals, remember, I'm supposedly pitting races against each other not individuals but people, are you still with me? I hope so, I'd hate to have to spank you again.
Now what did you say of these other people? they're "still being attacked and reviled today." Who'd you go back to? Chavez, leading a thinking person to conclude you're saying the other people are Latino's. You think because you gave reason why Chavez would be reviled allows you to escape the context of what was previously said in the context it was said. It don't. But let's continue -- with you're politically charged "pro-states right-wing" antagonists, who are being reviled and attacked? Latinos? No no, they're being pandered to. Illegals? Yes. Most certainly. And are we hearing of the great uprising from prostate right wingers in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Washington, Wisconsin, Maine, Vermont, Michigan sick to death of all those dirty Canadians? No. California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas. That's where the pro-statesrights right wingers are having a conniption. And what borders those States? Mexico!!!!!! and what does Mexico have? MEXICANS!!!! Of course, but more aptly described? Latinos. Now, are the state rights right wingers reviling and attacking Latinos in Mexico? No. Are they reviling and hating on, attacking Latino's who are American? No, we've already said that these Latinos are being pandered to. So who must they be attacking? Who is reviled? ILLEGALS.
So, what was a poor little country plowboy like myself to deduce?
Latino's are reviled? Oh, you're confusing Latino's with Illegals. All Latino's are illegals in your book?
You thought latino's were reviled? No, that's not true they're being pandered to. You must be confused, you must be talking about the terrible illegal immigration our country faces that only states rights right wingers seem to care about. I then asked, to make sure I wasn't mistaken in catching your mistake by ASKING not insinuating, never insinuating, but ASKING if "All Latino's are illegals in your book?"
This is the conversation and the context in which it was presented. Not the BS you're trying to pass off now.
Hat. Hand. Door.
Good Day.:2wave:
