Im not a liberal or a conservative and I frankly dont give a ****.

Not liberal or conservative, and no. There would be nothing wrong with attending the march per se, but to my knowledge, world leaders weren't attending the march, so there's no reason why Clinton should.

And you should probably clarify which Charlie Hebdo march. There have been marches in France for freedom of speech and solidarity towards Hebdo and marches in Muslim countries on behalf of Islamic values and against Hebdo.

I am undisclosed because each side has the best position for a certain issue, and I am not centered, hence: Yes Hillary should have attended, this has nothing to do with leaning, has more to do with Freedom of Speech!

Simple question.

Not as simple as you may think. For starters, there were those that "marched" both for and against the cartoons. I doubt that it would have made any difference to those that either like or dislike her as potential presidential candidate. Bopping off to Europe just to get in the news was probably seen as lacking class (even if you bring an entertainer along); unlike Obama. she will not catch crap for not attending and must fund her own travels. ;)

Simple question.

Didn't this woman blame a terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9-11 at a US embassy on a anti-Muslim film?

Simple question.

Why should she have? She is out of the administration has has no official function. If anyone from our government attended it should have been the president, VP or the Secretary of Defense. Frankly, I have no problem with just the ambassador attending. It is not like there was a ton of lead time.

Simple question.

Simple question, but needlessly complicated options.

Why not just YES, NO, and OTHER? Combine that with making picks public is all you need to know. Not everyone fits into the Con vs Lib category. And you will get people from both ends of the political spectrum voting neither Con or lib.

Working off a few pounds wouldn't have hurt.
Was that wroooooong?

I think you mean many Libs would rather creep around in forums without being identified as Libs.
Ya think they really don't know it's obvious anyway?

Hillary Clinton should only have attended if a higher ranking representative of the Obama administration, like Kim Kardashian, wasn't available.

Hillary isn't important enough, and even if she was-reminding everyone of her failures as sec of state isn't a good idea for her.

No, Hillary or any other US politician should not attend photo-ops created in a mostly empty alley with anti-free speech figures, their security and the press.

If conservatives want photo-ops for the sake of rhetoric, they can wait until the Olympics.

As the private citizen that she is, sure. Of course she would have to be near the hoi polloi and naturally she would have to find someone to pay for the flight and accommodations.

This is exactly right.

The party that brought us "Freedom fries" doesn't care about Charlie Hebdo. The tragedy is seen by them as an excuse to attack political foes.

No, I don't think she should have joined the march but the fact she has remained silent since the massacre says volumes about her.

In what capacity should Hillary have attended? I mean...if she wanted to buy a plane ticket and be like every other private party participant...sure...if she wanted to.

And the Republican Presidential hopefuls?

This may force some rethinking of strategy!!!

You don't have to apologize to me. Embrace your selective outrage.

Not to worry, my apology was in general, not to you in particular considering this is a public forum. The outrage is in your imagination, I expressed none.

Shhhh - some people are busy being Charlie Hebdo all the way from California.
