Obama the n-word

Have you personally heard (in real life) someone call the President the n-word?

Please feel free to share the experiences as well.

Mine are:

1) Jokes about killing him when he came here for the DNC
2) The n-word from friends and colleagues

Heard jokes using the N word
Also have it heard using like deep seeded hate to him

I am somewhat ignorant on England so:

1) How often do they talk about Obama
2) Is that a word that is used often in England?

White kids trying to be hip call each other "niggah." This is every bit as cool as their throwing cool wannabe-gangsta hand signs.

Never heard the slur directed at him.
The only joke about him that I heard
was regarding his lying.

Could you please come to my high school and give a seminar about that? It's starting to get really ****ing annoying.

We are interested in Obama..and watching the car crash..

The ''N'' word is never used here, apart from black people saying it to each other..

Hope this helps..

This is America's fault..using Gangs..attitudes..and glorifying Gang culture..making damn films about this..

No, I haven't, unless you mean between black folk messing around. No doubt there are right wingers using it in all its' racist potential against him, some things never change.

Yea, that's what it is.

It's just kids trying to act cool and failing, nothing else. There's no depth to it.

Maybe it's just the people I'm around, but I can't recall ever having him referred to in that fashion anywhere in person.

What's so sad is that is was stale years ago. But I'd be happy to lecture at your school. One topic: "Ink: Pen or skin?" Reading of Gwendolyn Brooks's "We Real Cool."

Then why do white kids think it is ''cool'' to act like black gangsters..

You have to stop this crap..

So, let me guess: anyone that criticizes Obama is a racist?

It's always pretty hilarious to see white people complain about black people using the n-word with one another, so out of their zone.

Because, crime aside, such folks have a cool vibe -- also, it's about emulating Hip Hop's cultural aesthetics NOT actual criminals.....though the two overlap at times as anyone knows. It's hardly the first time in American history and beyond. African Americans have always had the cool vibe since the early 20th century in some form and that culture spills over into every area of modern pop culture, especially music.

You have to stop this crap..

It's almost as if people are free to act as they want.

It's not a hard topic to understand, you should probably save your energy, kids grow up. You sound mad, which is weird, you have nothing to worry about.

If you end it with the n-word for emphasis, then yes, you're a sack of ****.

What's the point of your poll/thread, then? Enlighten me.

How many people have been physically present when someone called the POTUS the n-word. Or, in other words, what I said in the OP.

No, I think this thread is searching for more than a few people calling Obama a nigger. There's more to it than that. Personally, I see racebait all over it.

I'm glad you think that. Great to hear.

Anyway, to be honest, I am surprised at the # of people who haven't heard it. Maybe it is just because I live in a southeastern state, but it just seems commonplace here.

What's the point of knowing that?

There's a motive here. Be honest and tell us what it is.
