Well, he certainly did a good job of flushing out all the bigots in this country to let us all know we have a lot of work to do.....

Its seems its one thing to have a black man working in the pro shop, but God forbid he gets a golf membership or even worse, you find him on the membership committee.

Why do you say that? I would think every Liberal like you and Obama lover would say he has not.

Because you didn't add a third option, like "other" or "he didn't do anything to help or hurt race relations." Either of those were pretty obvious third choices.

He and his surrogates have used his race as a weapon.

During the primaries when he was running for election the first time, if people spoke out against him they simply called them racist. Once elected ANYONE who said ANYTHING negative about him was called a racist.

When the "Reverend" Jeremiah Johnson was brought up it was because those that were trying to make a point about him were simply racist.

He has done ZERO to extinguish the flames of black racism in this country and lately when the opportunity has presented itself, he has fanned those flames.

Neither. Minorities have no effect on the treatment that they receive from the white majority. There is no such thing as earning being the victim of racism, and certainly not having to earn an escape from racist treatment. It is completely up to us to stop treating people poorly. It is not up to them to somehow convince us to treat them with basic human decency.

And how is that possible without some sort of external influence? How does one person change the way they behave without an external stimulus? Arent you, by making this very argument attempting to influence people to change their behavior?

Your thoughts please.

Its most obvious that he has hurt relations by often accusing white of being racists. Insults and accusations are hurtful, not helpful. For example, when white cops responded to a breakin in Mass. and it was discovered that the accused was black and this was his home, Obama assumed the cop was racist. When the facts revealed that the cop had acted according to procedure, and Obama was wrong, this caused resentment by whites. This pattern has since been repeated by Obama.
