I didnt. Wasnt old enough.

I proudly voted for Gore/Lieberman.

I dunno, if I were old enough to vote it would've been a hard choice one or the other. Now knowing what we know now I'm leaning towards Gore, but if I were enough to vote and in the year 2000 it would be hard for me to make the choice..

Bush. What a mistake.

Ditto. It was the last time I've ever voted for a Republican president. And until the GOP purges the crazy, that may be the last time, ever.

I couldn't agree with you more.

And the crazy quotient seems to be only increasing over the years.

AL gore's wealth from his green-scam makes me glad that fraudster didn't win

Nobody in their right mind could ever vote for that crazy man...Gore.

Since I'm in my right mind, I voted for Bush.

I thought both sucked and whoever won would leave this country worst off then when whoever entered the office. A choice of dumb and dumber. I didn't want to have nothing to do with putting either one of them in the White House. So I voted for Browne.

Now if it would have been Bradley/Lieberman perhaps I might have voted for them. The fact Gore failed to carry his home state of Tennessee should tell you something.

Gore made a big mistake by running away from President Clinton. Do you know that if they recounted the whole state of Florida as the Florida Supreme Court had ruled, Gore would have eked out a victory?

did you know that if the media had not called Florida for sore/loserman before the polls closed in the heavily pro-bush western part of the panhandle, thousands of voters-mainly favoring Bush would have actually voted?

That's a good story Turtle.;)

Inconvenient facts are ALWAYS a "good story" to you, eh?
Republicans always vote, it doesn't matter what the media does. If the Democrats were like that they wouldn't ever lose.

Wait...are you blaming Gore's loss on Democrats not voting?

The Seven Dwarfs of the 1988 Democratic Primary, in my order of preference:

Dick Gephardt
Paul Simon
Michael Dukakis
Joe Biden
Bruce Babbitt
Al Gore
Jesse Jackson

I have had a low regard for Al Gore for a very long time.

What if's. I don't know, I was just glad after what seemed like a thousand recounts it was over. On the other hand if the Media early in the night hadn't announced Florida had gone to Gore an hour before the polls closed in the Republican rich panhandle of Florida...who knows how many votes that cost Bush? People staying home because they thought the election was over.

Tons of what if's on both sides. What I did learn from all of that, if you do not like either candidate for president and was going to leave you ballot blank refusing to vote for either, DON'T. Watching the recounts with all those ballots which skipped the president office, saying this person voted for 10 Republicans and 5 Democrats so he meant to vote for Bush or vice versa, for Gore. That was crazy, they probably meant not to vote for either one.

So in my opinion, the recounts were not honest either. For me the fact Gore failed to carry his home state, if he did Florida would not have meant squat. That was where he lost, not Florida. The people that knew him best opted for someone else. I really do not know if Gore would have been a better president than Bush, that is pure speculation. I suppose what one thinks there boils down partisan lines.

I voted against Gore. Remember the phone calls and Garry Mauro? That's why.

I voted for George W. Bush, and I'm not ashamed to say that. I thought he was the best man for the job.

They're both morons, do you really like Bush?

That's the feel I'm getting from you.

Just as how I feel Pbrauer wanted the "GReen freak" (who flew in a personal jet that coughed out tons of **** in the air) moron to win.
