Who's your favorite of the Bush's?

Re: Your Favourite of the Bush-Family

Who's your favorite of the Bush's?

The old man had the finest resume of anyone who has ever run for president in the modern age and was a brilliant businessman but his lackluster 92 campaign stuck us with Clinton (which in turn gave the GOP the congress-hmmm). W was far clearer in his goals. Jeb I haven't seen enough of nor GP to really rate them

Re: Your Favourite of the Bush-Family

Picking a favorite Bush is much like picking the shiniest turd....

Jeb was a good governor. He was decent on the environment. Even liberals liked him.

Ditto.

Re: Your Favourite of the Bush-Family

Hack much?

No, not really. It's not hackish to point that out.

Pretty ironic accusation coming from Mr. "Left-libertarians are just Democrats with a gun rack."

Oh, please. Let's have a shred of self awareness. Here's an idea, try substituting Dems and imagining a right wing hack. When they say the same thing... guess what.

Just answer who's your favorite and spare us the ass-faced cheerleading.

It wouldn't be hackish for a right-winger to state that choosing between Clintons is choosing the shiniest of turds either. Sorry.

Ironic that you're accusing me of being a hack. Weren't you the one trying to conflate left-libertarians as just being pro-gun Democrats? :coffeepap

Where?

Re: Your Favourite of the Bush-Family

Downstairs.

Real bright. You might be spending too much time worrying about which turd is shiny and not examining your own. Cause that one's glistening.

I don't worry about which turd is shiny, that's the ****ing point. Hence why I didn't answer the poll.

Are you done dropping turds in this thread? While your turd-calling is definitely your high point herein, perhaps you've another nugget of wisdom.

Re: Your Favourite of the Bush-Family

I've got respect for all three men that have been in high office.

In terms of stuff I thought was best around my interests: Sr. signed into law both the ADA and IDEA, pushed forward the concept of Goals 2000, W. continued to endorse that work with IDEA 2004 and NCLB (however flawed the latter was), and Jeb Bush likewise pumped through his A+ system and vouchers aimed at students with disabilities.

I concur regarding to G.H. Bush.

No other President in the past one hundred years has entered the White House with the credential, experience and knowing all of the right people in the world, the foreign leaders to have pulled off the first Gulf War (Desert Shield/Desert Storm) by forming a coalition. He was able to get the entire world on board including the Muslim world and was able to convince Israel to stay out of the fight.

As for why he allowed the French aka :blah: to participate in the coalition, it beats me ?

On that note, H. signed 'No Net Loss' to protect America's wetland acreage and W. quietly repealed it during the noise of the Patriot Act. I'm not thrilled about that move.

I'm not familiar with that, I live in FL.

Re: Your Favourite of the Bush-Family

President Bush-41 has given me my best memories.
1. My all-time favorite is "voodoo" economics.
2. "Read my lips" is right up there--Bidenesque.
3. Praying he would live every day with Dan Quayle waiting in the wings.
4. Lee Atwater/Willie Horton.
5. a thousand points of life--and a great foundation--which Bubba kept going but didn't get the UFO info from GHWB like Carter did.
6. the Iran hostage connection--the old CIA director.
7. The USA Flag guy.

sure wish I could remember that secret government he formed in the 1950s-
didn't realize how many were Bilderbergs--Kissinger, Colin Powell, Condi Rice-

The 1996 Texas election against Ann Richards who coined the phrase "silver spoon".
They both agreed to invoke the 7-year CIA rule about previous drug use .
