Fox News Poll: Voters reveal which state they want kicked out of the union

They were also educated by liberals, but since you mention it the young AND poor, (both more likely in the service sector) they are also more likely to vote democrat.

So you assume that they vote democrat because they are young and work in the service sector? So there's all these young people working in the biggest part of the economy and they all vote Democrat? If that's true, the Republican party is in bigger trouble than I thought.

They vote democrat because they want the freebees the dems promise them but never deliver.

Even if your gross oversimplification of a complex, and historically rooted issue were correct, how would that differ from the richest segments of society voting for the party promising them freebie tax cuts?

I'm not rich and I support tax cuts.

On Capital Gains and top marginal rates.

And I am not on government assistance but still support those and expansion of social programs in general. What's your point?

If you're going by shape, Florida is definitely out. It's fairly obvious what that shape resembles.
No, we can't lop that off. That is important. We need that shape, we don't need one that looks like a smashed tissue box. Or a half eaten block of cheese. I am giving a hard eye to Missouri too. What the he'll is with that little notch, clean up your act Missouri.

According to your data here, 54% of people who work full time vote Democrat. That might be a bigger problem for the Republicans than welfare recipients.

Learn to read basic stats, it said of the People polled who vote democrat, 54% are working full time. It did NOT say 54% of people who work full time vote democrat. Frankly I expected it to be higher.

Again basic reading comprehension would be elucidating. I said that the young and service employees tend to make less, they are more likely to vote democrat.

The democrat party is wealthier than the republicans, from income to contributions. Fundamental facts, bud.

But that's not the stereotype being pushed in this thread. Supposedly democrats are the dregs of society.

According to the stats relative to the republicans, they are. One party is the party of big govt, one-size-fits-all top down mandates, and handouts for votes-and thats the democrat party.

New Jersey. ****ing hate New Jersey. Ever been there? I'm sorry, me too.

Someone sounds mad that people just don't like the Republican't party.

That seems like the numbers are a bit off. Of the people that voted Democrat, 54% work full time AND 63% get unemployment. That's 117%. Not to mention that 81% get housing.

I'd like to see who they polled....

If the Democrats are wealthier, why do 81% of them get some kind of welfare? You make assertions that don't add up. They simply don't make any sense whatsoever.

If you were to believe everything I've seen conservatives say here, all Democrats are on welfare, they want SSM as part of a Marxist plot, never ever blame minorities for anything, yet for some reason are Nazis (rattle that around your head for a second). I wish someone would just figure out what the real strawman is.

Such is life when one deals strictly in the politics of demonization. USConservative simply applies whatever strawman is rhetorically convenient at the time.

You're presenting all the intellectual discussion of a bumper sticker.

We don't need our map to be anatomically correct. Sorry, Florida. :(

I'm not naive enough to think that tax increases equate to income equality let alone a improved economy or even increase revenues.

I'm much too pragmatic to think that targeting wealth creation is a good idea.

No , I've been around long enough to see that these progressive narratives almost always yield negative results and unforseen consequences.

You guys need to learn eventually that the " rich" have many options other than agreeing to participate these left wing feckless initiaves.

They have mobility, for themselves and their money

So read up on it, I think it that sounds like a great idea.
