Fox News Poll: Voters reveal which state they want kicked out of the union

Mississippi.

California makes up like 15% of our GDP. Silicon Valley and Hollywood are both huge in terms of resource creation and influence.

Cali would certainly be top on my list. I'd miss Kings Canyon and the Redwoods and probably Sonoma Valley but that's about it.

More than 80% of the poll's respondents said they wouldn't vote to kick any state out of the Union. I don't much care about the crazy 17% who voted yes.

Really ???

Of all the states, you would boot out, you choose Cali over crap states like Mississippi, North Dakota?

You are partisan to the bone....

I don't actually want any state to go, but if one had to leave I'd pick Alabama.

Well thank God it will never happen. It would bring a massive economic hurt to the USA.

I'd kick out Illinois. It's full of scumbags.

Florida.

Every single time you hear some crazy ass **** happening, you know it's Florida before they even say it.

I would start here. Clearly Mississippi would be the favorite.

what say you?

I would say we are wasting our time. And kicking a State out of the Union is just another way of saying we want certain people out of the Union, or the height (and worst) of division and superiority oriented thinking. I vote for kicking no one out of the Union, putting on our big boy pants, and getting to the business of securing the future of this nation... for all of us. Not just those we politically like.

Cali would certainly be top on my list. I'd miss Kings Canyon and the Redwoods and probably Sonoma Valley but that's about it.

Why not just give Los Angeles to Mexico and San Francisco and Marin County to North Korea ?

Keep the rest of the state intact with in the Union.

As someone who wants an amicable divorce for the communists, socialists, and radical leftists of the Democratic Party, and the fascists in the Republican Party - why can't we just split the country up 3 ways??

To be sure, those of us who desire to live in a free state with limited government, i.e. what America was originally founded as, would be the smallest minority - I wouldn't mind getting a smaller land stake - as long as we could rid ourselves of authoritarians.

The leftists can have their crony capitalist, socialist states; the fascists can have their crony capitalist, anti-drug, pro-war states; and the rest of us can live free and in peace.

I would ask why that would be such a terrible thing for you control freaks to consider - but I know the answer... authoritarians never let serfs and victims walk away. History tells us what you control freaks do to people who do not conform - you'd gas, shoot, or starve them before you'd ever let them walk free.

We'd be screwed without California...they and New York practically fund our country.

A nation of free people doesn't need much government, hence we wouldn't need much in the way of tax revenues. Limited government, should translate to small government.

No, most of us could live just fine with chopping America down to its proper constitutional size ;)

And New York?? Good grief, that is the global seat for almost all that is vile and corrupt in the world... the U.N., the Federal Reserve, the fiat currency market, et al... we need to turn the place into a real life "Escape From New York - seal 'em off, and don't let 'em out.

Leave it to Faux to put out a poll like this.

How patriotic.

Don't like this country? Take a bunch of like-minded people and go set up your own. I'd prefer to do what I can to improve this one.

Very interesting.....I would vote for California...........what say you?

Fox News Poll: Voters reveal which state they want kicked out of the union | Fox News

Gee, people who answer a Fox News poll want all the Liberals kicked out....hmmmm....

Considering the economic impact of California...The economy of California would be the 8th largest in the world if it were its own country:

California economy ranking in the world - California Economy | EconPost

If you think our economy is disappointing now, throw all that out the window and see how you like it then.

I'd pick something like West Virginia.

I would start here. Clearly Mississippi would be the favorite.

Just wanted to point out something interesting in this chart

16 of the 20 states that depend on the government the most are RED states

IsntThatIronic.jpg

No state should be kicked out. People calling for Cali to go, think about the economic impact that would have.
