Keep your head buried in the sand. I see things as they are....THEY HATE US ALREADY. Pig blood for all Muslims.

No, they DON'T all hate us. If you'll ask a few of the others here who have spent years over there (and I pulled into port over there over twenty times), they'd tell you that most of them are just like us, just trying to make a living and raise a family. It's only a very idiotic and vocal minority of them who are making life hell for the rest, and cost us a bit of sleep over here.

Think about this: the nation that is being cruelest to Muslims isn't even a Muslim nation - it's China, with what they're doing to the Muslim Uighur minority in Xinjiang province. But why aren't the Muslims raising hell about that? Because China's being quiet about it. It would be so easy to point the attention of the world's Muslims to what China is doing, if only we didn't have so many Islamophobes like you here in America.

One has to ask, what would the conservatives demand?
I think we should stay out of it despite what some **** sucking scumbag neocons say..

What would they do if they were in charge?
I would stay out of it. However if I wanted to involve ourselves I would drop neutron bombs on them with the use of predator drones and have gunships mow down ISIL anytime they pop their heads out.

Besides, whatever Obama does, right or wrong, will be condemned by the Right anyway.
I think the neocon scum in general want Obama to involve us.Just look at that piece of **** McCain.Everthing out of that wacko's mouth is Oh we got to arm the arm the revels, oh we got to do that oh we got to do this,Oh how dare Obama take ground troops off the table and so on.
IMO Obama's not doing badly. Instead of riding in cowboy-style with all our vast armed might, he first got NATO to join in the fight, and he's earnestly trying to get the Arab nations to take the lead on the ground...because he realizes that we cannot win a war there. The best we can hope for is that the guys who are our friends (or at least who are the least unfriendly) win, and so we do our best to help them win.

If these conflicts go like other joint conflicts then it will be a farce. If I send in 1000 of my guys and you send in 10 to help me it is not a joint action. It is me mostly doing everything while you send in a handful of guys so you can say you helped.

Other.

No, and, I have never trusted him to do anything he says he will do, nor anything he might be called to do due to his office.

But then I don't trust 99% of the politicians in DC and state/local government areas, either....

How did all that sand taste over there? Maybe we don't hear about what the terrorist do over in China. What we do know is that in Gitmo they have cable TV a big soccer field and more freedoms than they would get in China. Keep your head in the sand, they will love you even more.

FEEEEAAAARRRR! Those bad old Muslims are a-gonna invade and kill us all, just like GOP senator Lindsey Graham said!!!! They're a-gonna do a Number Six on us - they'll go a-ridin' into town, a-whompin' and a-whumpin' every livin' thing that moves within an inch of its life. Except for the women folks, of course, 'cause they'll rape the **** out of them at the Number Six Dance later on....

Guy, your anger and rage (and what you seem to think is patriotism) all stem from one thing: fear. A wise man once said that all we have to fear, is fear itself. I'm not afraid of the Muslims at all - but I do worry about idiots running round with guns pretending they're the last, best hope of red-blooded, truck-driving, spread-eagled 'freedom'....

I dont trust Obama to do a damn thing except be a poor president. In the mean time, ISIS continues to grow almost exponentially. This is what voting for democrats gets you.

Those state and local politicians are worse than those in DC, well in California they are. And they are the future DC politicians.

Actually I think more of the local and state politician types are good than those in DC - somehow the process weeds out the best to leave us with the worst.

It is so nice to see you low info voters and how naïve you are. It is a shame that even some low info lemmings can't read enough to see that ISIS said that they "would see us in New York" and that their "flag would be flying over the White House". You progressives sure are a cute bunch, scary but cute. For progressives and liberals thinking that they are the smartest people in the world they sure can't prove it. WOW.

I notice this type likes to portray people who love this country as slack-jawed, NASCAR-lovin' nativists, riding around in pickup trucks with gun racks, guffawing, swilling beer, and practically drooling at the chance to attack a homosexual, a non-white--or maybe a Muslim. They, on the other hand--or so they seem desperate to convince themselves and each other--are a cut above the hoi polloi, intelligent, well-educated cosmopolitans who know their Brie from their brioches and like to read the New Yorker while sipping a martini. I think they fancy that putting down their own country while rooting for people who hate it makes them seem sophisticated.

In fact, it just makes them seem un-American. And no amount of pretense can hide just what a dim, ignorant rube the run-of-the-mill faux liberal really is. Low-information voters is exactly right.

The left "loves" the US like an abusive husband who beats his wife to show he cares.
It was in the 1960s that the left convinced itself that there is something fascistic about patriotism and something perversely “patriotic” about running down America. Anti-Americanism — a stand-in for hatred of Western civilization — became the stuff of sophisticates and intellectuals as never before. Flag burners became the truest “patriots” because dissent — not just from partisan politics, but the American project itself — became the highest virtue. — P.197 Liberal Fascism

Mostly this question is aimed at those who want our country to fight ISIS. Because I noticed many neocon scum in the media saying Obama should do something,Obama should fight ISIS or some other nonsense are the same ones who mock his ability to lead militarily. If this guy is such a poor leader then why on earth do they want that man getting us involved in another war? Do these people think he has General Patton or some other great general on ice ready to thawed? Is there a really great "How to Fight Wars for Dummies" book somewhere?

About as good as Bush did destroying Al Qaeda!

Russia is insistent that U.S. measures to target militants in Syria lack authority without buy-in from Syrian President Bashar al-Assad — a point Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon Tuesday."

This is just another cog in the Infinity War. There's no "good job" in Infinity War.

Oh good gawd, that same old crap. Is everybody you disagree with a low information voter. People wouldn't even be participating on a political forum if they were low information! A difference in opinion doesn't equate with low information.

I am very flattered that you follow ALL my post. Now go read, research and question. Watching the racist, gay bashing, women hating pigs on MSNBC will not help you. Good luck.

Exactly how does that defend your claim that people on the left (people with whom you have a political difference with) are low information voters?

But surely MSNBC reports truthfully about this administration, right? ;)

Of course they have a tendency to be biased towards the left when commenting on reports, as FOX has a tendency to be biased towards the right when commenting on reports. That's no mystery to the participants at DP.

Yes I do. I know that he has come to terms with how important it is for our own security so just like he got Ben Laden, I trust him to really jam up this ISIS nonsense. I think his critics; of which I am one, are too quick to judge him on these decisions because armed conflict is a very fluid thing, and what you said yesterday may not be true today. Moreover, you don't want to telegraph your punches, particulalry in this day and age. Secrecy can be very difficult.

Exactly my earlier point. He's already telegraphed that which he won't do. Foolishly limiting his options later, should the situation change and demand it.

Since he's promised 'no boots on the ground', it'll take a long time (read long decision delay on putting boots on the ground - like the Afghanistan surge and even then not to the level requested by the generals), and further giving away the tactical advantages, making the mission all the more harder (read more expensive in blood and treasure) for the military to achieve.

You sure must have a really low bar set for this guy's performance already, claiming that you believe that it's been good to date. Fact of the matter, is that it hasn't, and there's no way to magically distort it into that it has.

Do I or anyone who has studied the history of the Vietnam War trust a President who refuses to listen to his military advisers and instead allows civilians like Valerie Jarrett, Susan Rice to write and dictate what America's national security doctrine will be and what the tactics should be used by the U.S. military trust Obama ? Only stupid people would.

Obama is micromanging the U.S. military.

He has failed to look at the mistakes that were made in 65-68.

Obama just isn't ignoring the Weinberger / Powell Doctrin's < Weinberger Doctrine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia > / > Powell Doctrine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia > but is micromanging the U.S. military.

What experiance does Obama, Jarrett and Rice have when it comes to the military and on the battlefield except using the military for PC social engineering. :thinking

With this, I whole heartily agree. All you have to do is look at the policies he's pushed onto the military. Exactly PC social engineering.

No leader he.

Where did I say that erik.

Bias and truth are two different things. The left looked like it had been punched in the gut with the trayvon martin case, for example.
