When the towers fell, the West as a whole was in shock, While we were in shock and even when we were in mourning the middle east was celibrating, they really loved seeing so many westeners die at the hands of "the warriors of Allah"

So now "the warriors of Allah" have turned on the middle east and to honor the dead we should race in all guns blazing to save them ?

The people we are supposed to help (kurds excluded) have tried to kill us the whole time we where there to protect and help them. It was Sunni militias killing us, shia militias killing us and every country in the middle east financing and training them.

To honor the people that died the past decade at the hands of these "warriors of Allah" we should do nothing, nothing at all. Just stand by the few friends we have there and let those warmongering west hating barbarians kill each other, they truly deserve the monster they created. It is not our fight, it is the fight of the enemies of the west among each other and they are trying to pull us in to do their dirty work.

If killing 20 million Iraqis meant saving 10 U.S citizens I'd do it.

Some have made the case that nuking them would only create more terrorism. Would it really? We nuked Japan in a war but did Japan or any other nation ultimately want to **** with the U.S.A? I guess Russia did, yet there were no conflicts, just an arms race that in the end ****ed the Russians over.

The Iraqis are worthless to me, they lost their worth when this **** started happening.

You took the fight to them in fact for 12 years and then began to relax. ISIS and insurgents filled the vacuum and now you going back in there with NATO to fight again.

This is what I don't understand. Why do we know everything that is going to happen before it happens?

The only thing I can figure is Obama tells us then looks at the polls to see if he should do it or not.

If we, as the public, know what is going to happen, then the bad guys know as well, thereby losing the element of surprise.

It doesn't make any sense to me.

A 9/11 style attack probably will happen again. But, just as with the first attackers, they won't be blown to extinction. And as long as the US continues to support militant Islamic groups as we have at least since Jimmy Carter, and destabilizing the Middle East as we have done by removing guys like Hussein, Mubarak, Gaddafi and Assad, which create power vacuums for these groups to exploit and become strengthened, we'll have more no doubt.
