Here we are 2 days away from the Anniversary of 911. Every year since 2001 we have been sent videos of threats from AQ. This year we are now being Threatened by ISIS. That they will strike at us some way. Threatened to kidnap our people. Threatened to behead our people. Giving us ulitmatums and trying to strike fear into us.

Instead of the US upping security and BO giving a Speech on what we will do.

Should the US attack AQ and ISIS on the Anniversary of 911. Go after them wherever we know they are.

Also please explain out your answer.

On the Anniversary of 911 US will be on the highest alert defending homeland and there is no time to attack others.
 
personally instead of screwing around I'd send a couple nukes, check to see if everything was decimated, and move on with our lives.

Mornin RDS. :2wave: The US has not set the level of Threat at its Highest Alert.....I would disagree. We have sat back for 12 years always waiting to hear from these Terrorists. Why should we keep waiting. How about us taking to the Offense that day without a any doubt. So that going forward on 911.....the Terrorists knows.....Death is coming for them by way of the American People. Who they just cannot Intimidate. No matter how hard the fools try.

I think its high time we take the Fight to them.....Hit them in 4 or 5 Countries. Hit them at the break of day. All our People capable to do so. Intel and Military as well as anyone else that can take one out. Let them wake to a New Age.....which will be without them.

Which would start a chain of events that leads to government leaders sequestered under ground because above ground is on fire and is mostly radioactive.

No, not on 9/11, but yes, we need to bring the hammer down on them without mercy.
 
We need to act deliberately and with a sound plan of action, and not just blunder in like we did when we invaded Iraq the first time. If such a strategy is in place by 9/11, then by all means let's go get them. If not, let's wait until the time is right. There is nothing magic about the date.

Lets ASSUME the administration has good intel on ISIS...on real viable effective targets. Then helllz yes 9/11 would be a GREAT day to rock their entire fricken world. Drones, bombs, snipers, laser beams from spy satellites, let the dust settle, then rinse, lather, and repeat.

Not on 9/11.

If we attack them on 9/11, then forever more they will attack us on that date.

It will become special not only to us but to them.

Heya DH. :2wave: I agree with having a sound plan. Use to be.....we didn't need to explain anything out Right before we were going to do something. What do you think about BO coming out to give a Speech on 911?

Well, we can't take back what took place in time.....but we can take their Day away from them. Put them on the run.....have them crawling under the rocks they will need to hide under. We can take it to them on this......their so called Special Day.

After we are done hitting them up like 5 years in a row. The last thing they will want to utter out their mouths is 911.

Heya VM. :2wave: We have intel.....everybody gets a piece of the action. But we need to hit AQ at the same time. I mean consider it like a cook out.

We dropped a lil Napalm.....just to reinforce the effect, that they won't be seeing any paradise either.

I would personally be more strategic in the way I militarily engaged an opponent that is backed by an ideology hellbent on killing Westerners & Israelis.

Honestly though, waging War on 9/11 is rolling the dice considering the domestic situation right now, we need all the hands we can get to get us through this year's 9/11 since ISIS has been threatening to attack our homeland and have infiltrators and sleeper cells already inside our perimeter and every bigwig in government leadership is telling us "the system is blinking red." I say no to doing what you're suggesting because our military was busy on 9/11/01 and four hijacked commercial planes crashed, 3 of them into buildings, 2 of which collapsed completely which caused the collapse of 2 more.

I dont know how well people understand Middle eastern Muslims in general. I absolutely know they dont understand fundamentalists. Where Obama had it 'right' is that Al Qaida 'WAS' on the run and ISIS 'WAS' the Junior Varsity because they understood quite clearly that they were the moles in our own real life game of whack-a-mole. As long as they got that if they stuck their head above ground for more than a second they would get bashed with a hammer, they were staying in their caves. They didnt get all that base in their voice until after we announced we were NOT leaving a viable military force in Iraq and that we were in fact completely withdrawing.

Muslims respect power. I dont care if it is the businessman that goes to the contracting officer over the general because the contracting officer has the authority to make the deals and sign the checks or if it is a military force responding in an unrestrained manner targeting the enemy. They may not LOVE it, but they respect it. What they DEPLORE is weakness. When you project weakness you are just painting yourself as a target.

Bombing legitimate targets back to the stone age will get their attention. Do it every time they decide to crawl out of their hole will cause them to stay there. Obama has begun to recognize this, to his credit. If people are paying attention, ISIS has kinda slid off the front page since Obama engaged them. Thats a good start. Ironically...the diehard partisan bobbleheads ignore the fact that a significant number of democrats AND the commander in chief are clamoring for action and instead rush to 'blame' Obama's actions on McCain and the republicans. Funny how Obama cant get any liberal love for his own actions. Even when it is OBVIOUS it is his choice, they STILL want to claim...it isnt him!!!

Other than that bit about BO peep having AQ on the run and that ISIS was the JV team.....I was good with it. BO never had AQ on the run.....the entire time they kept morphing and growing. ISIS is ISIL.....AQ in the Levant. Both the heads of ISIS and Ansar al Sharia are former members of AQ.

Ansar al sharia attacked our people in Benghazi. Now as to all 3 looking to take kudos for what they do to the US.....they look to keep playing on this day. I am not so keen on them trying to compete with one another as to who can do the worse damage.

Truly.....I think we could take this day away from them wherein they wont want to celebrate nor remember. We could give them more than enough to actually fear. Dropping Napalm on their ass will tune them Right in.
