Better Democratic nominee in 2016 - Hilary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren?

I am not a fan or either (nor am I either Dem or Rep)...but I am just curious who most people would choose if they were the only choices?

Btw, if I had to choose, I would go with Warren.

Is this even a serious question? Clinton is not only indisputably far more electable than Elizabeth Warren (who has somehow managed to make herself more feared and hated that Clinton) but is closer in alignment to the political sentiment in the United States than Warren.

Well sure...but Clinton is, well, kinda nuts, IMO.

:)

Btw, as of now, 3 of the four that have voted (other then me) either voted for Warren or could not decide.

Apparently it's not as cut and dried as you seem to think.

Warren is the saner of the two.

Warren is more feared and hated by the GOP bagmen than Clinton for many reasons.
Yes, she does motivate the Democrat base far more than HRC.
She will also go after Wall Street Capitalist Cronies that I hear Mark Levin types go after every day.
The Populist wave is growing again as it did 100 years ago .

As a suburban Republican I would seriously consider giving my vote to Clinton if Paul, Cruz, Perry, etc were the nominee. Warren is the only candidate who would make me vigorously support any possible Republican alternative. This is obviously only anecdotal but I think you seriously underestimate how polarizing she is among suburban middle-upper middle class voters of all political stripes.

Warren, in a heartbeat.

I was an alternate state delegate for Hillary in 2008. I said then that Obama was the future of the Democratic party, but that America wasn't ready for him, and that was why I was supporting Hillary - I've still got her campaign posters downstairs. I honestly like Obama and I strongly support him (and with what he's accomplished, if he'd had an (R) behind his name, the GOP would be pushing to have his face added to Mt. Rushmore), but I still think I was right - we would have been better off if we'd elected Hillary first.

Be that as it may, I strongly like Elizabeth Warren better - she is more populist, less apt to be drawn into the weeds by 'triangulation'.

But then, perhaps the same metric might be applied - America certainly is ready for Hillary as we were six years ago. Is America ready for someone as populist as Warren? I don't know. And as much as we all (including myself) like outsiders and hate Washington insiders, it's the Washington insiders who really know how to get things done in Washington.

So...perhaps a Hillary/Warren ticket. That's probably best.

Clinton. I think George W Bush was a mistake and I'm uneasy about Obama. I want someone who isn't inexperienced or ideologically motivated. I feel like Clinton comes closer to meeting that description.

"hated and feared" ? Has this psychological problem become so great ?
Scary , if so .I like Mrs Warren, but as to her electability .. I think not ..hope I am wrong about this ..
Mr Sanders , I like as well ..both of us are "Independents" .
And, who cares about some dumb quarterback - or whatever ..
This is serious...We badly need a "great unifier" ..the better world will have to wait ... sadly ..

the Hildabeast is a power hungry twit. Fauxachontas is even worse. Hildabeast has the blood of our slain ambassador all over her. Neither one is fit to be president

Warren is far more dangerous than Hillary. If Hillary governs as her husband did, this country will do just fine. Warren would govern about as far left as anyone can imagine.

You might want to learn the correct spelling of "Hillary".

an electable candidate=/=a decent candidate

I personally wouldn't vote for either one, but Clinton is a masterful politician, knows the players on both sides of the aisle and the foreign stage and has the ability to work with them or work around them. Warren is just a cheap manufactured suit.

Elizabeth Warren is Mark Levin's best friend when it comes to defeating dirty crony capitalism. As for the hate-filled vitriol being thrown at both women, no problem when it comes from rightist LibertAryans .

Keep reading the responses on page two for more hate and fear coming from the Francoists ..

If you are asking who has the better chance to win in 2016, at this point in time I would say definitely Hillary Clinton. But I am looking at the electoral map, Clinton would start off with 256 electoral votes and would have an excellent shot at winning North Carolina, a state Romney barely carried. Hillary would probably do better in Virginia and Florida also. But today is not 2 years from now.

I think Hillary would be better accepted by independent swing voters than Warren, for me it is that simple.

Not to mention it can be argued that Clinton at least has some [secondhand] governing experience. Warren has absolutely none.

she's a complete scumbag. So is Hildabeast but at least Bill might keep a leash on her more hateful proclivities

Warren is far superior but it'll be Hillary who's the nominee. She has the $$$$$$$$ and owed debts.

I fail to see the difference between obama = warren = hillary

I find it humorous people say they are fed up with obama yet want to vote for hillary or warren.

Paul has my vote today. Ill reassess come election time

It's a tough question. I think Warren has what it takes to be brave and call for things that may not make everyone happy but are necessary. But, as we know, most of a president's job is foreign policy, and though I don't think Hilary did the best job as Secretary of State, she has the foreign policy experience at least. Although neither are my pick for 2016, I just like Warren a lot better on a personal level. I couldn't vote for her for POTUS, but I like her well enough.
