I will start off by saying that there is NO justification for shooting a fleeing unarmed man, unless you know for a fact he is a serial killer or the like. Having said that. Is it more believable that Michael Brown could have started a fight with this cop(for no reason)after seeing the surveillance video of him stealing and intimidating the clerk?

I do not have to believe anything. I can wait until all the facts come in, and then make some kind of judgement.

IF that is really Brown on the video, yes, it's more believable.

I'm not ready to accuse either side yet though, since so few facts are verified. I think all we really know for sure is that Officer Wilson shot Michael Brown. That's all that's been confirmed.

Brown was huge. He picked up the store owner practically by the neck. Absolutely I believe that it's possible that he might have gone after the cop. While I don't excuse (at all) shooting an unarmed person, what could the cop have done if he was coming after him? Especially if the cop was smaller in stature, like the store owner?

I guess he could have shot to incompacitate the guy. I'm not sure. I hate seeing anybody shot period. Especially if they are unarmed. But we don't know the whole story yet, so I'll wait to see what the officer says.

Why would it? There's no reason to give that person's account of what happened any more weight than any other account.
Judging from the video released today showing Brown shoving his way out of the store with ill-gotten tobacco, I'd say he had an attitude.

If minutes later he showed the same attitude to an LEO, it's not a big leap to reason why he's dead.

According to a friend, this is the officer's story.

But what does that have to do with the lady calling in to the radio show? I don't understand how her call makes the poll in the OP obsolete.

 Wow --

I would love to hear the officer's version. Sometimes stories change when going from one person to the other. But if her version is accurate, then I feel for the cop.

I will say this - my husband was a cop for 20 years, and there are certain drugs that one can be under the influence of, that make them seemingly indestructible. They can be shot over and over, and they can keep on coming.

And probably reason to give it a good deal less weight.

I think evidence exists that he is willing to get into a confrontation with someone and that evidence exists he is also capable of robbery. That evidence must be taken to court. That is the only way we can make a factual case either way.

The video shows Dorian Johnson and Michael Brown robbing a carryout and Brown was killed while they were fleeing the scene of a felony. It's possible that Dorian Johnson could be charged with capital murder. So he has plenty of reason to lie. And he also conveniently left out the part about the robbery when he told his story to the media. Basically lying by omission. Furthermore, after seeing how tall Brown is, it seems to me that Johnson's version of events is physically impossible. It makes no sense.

Therefore his credibility is non-existent IMO. He's a typical lying ******.

What baffles my mind is that they lied KNOWING there was evidence that this guy was caught on video. I just shake my head and repeat... "really, really...... seriously".....

We have to assume he was hyped up after beating a cop.

There are other witnesses...if they are black, should we discount their versions as well?

You mean like MSNBC did with Zimmerman? That type of "wait" and see?

Where my words too complex for you? What does any TV network have to do with anything I said?

I forgot, you are a Liberal. Did I EVER say that you said anything about MSNBC. Believe it or not the world does not revolve around all you so-called great minds. You made a comment, then I made a comment. Get it? And get over yourself.

Congratulations! You've just won the most moronic question of the month award.
