He shared more of my values than the other guys who, so far as I could see, shared very very few of them. Second, anyone...anyone...who pays attention to the bumper sticker slogans of any candidate is a complete idiot. Did you like Romney's and McCain's bumper sticker slogans better, and is that why you voted for them?
That's the thing, how did you know he shared your values ? Obama's " values " were defined by his campaign and the media.
Also, I'm no fan of John McCain's but to be fair, he didn't base his entire campaign around nonsensical platitudes like " Hope and Change ".
He didn't promise to " lower the sea levels " and there was no definitive reaction from Obama, his campaign or the media to shut down his idiot supporters who publicly declared that Obama would pay their bills.
I guess they figured, " let them beleive it, maybe more will hear them and beleive it too. "
People didn't elect a capable and qualified leader, they elected a construct.....TWICE !
He was a media creation, a empty suit " qualified " by a campaign and a media that promised the impossible and Americans should have known better.
