When it is a position—even honestly stated and pursued—that is overtly evil, or which violates the Constitution, then yes, such a position is itself corrupt, as is any politician who takes such a position.
I don't believe that either party is overtly evil.

They may be mistaken about a bunch of stuff. But that's not evil.

What a dumb question!
You probably mean, is the Democratic Party more corrupt than the Republican Party, and it's still a dumb question.
Unless you're struggling with the terms, 'liberal' and 'conservative', in which case the question becomes a welcome source of giggles and nods for anyone literate enough to read your nym. (Hint- that probably excludes more of your supporters than your opponents.)

Whoa!
I admire the self-aggrandizement needed to make judgements on both good vs. evil and constitutionality. You might have a statue of yourself in your front yard.
If I lived in your world, I wouldn't want to grow up either.

I don't think either party is more corrupt than the other. But I'm pleased to say that residing in a state that has a republican legislature and a republican governor that they're still able to root out the corruption in their midst....thanks to a democrat.

"...After he was arrested and charged with 10 felonies alleging he had misused his office, former Republican Attorney General Mark Shurtleff complained loud and long that the case against him was a politically motivated hit, ordered by Democratic Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill.

Gill denied party played into the charges, noting they were made in conjunction with Davis County Attorney Troy Rawlings, a Republican, and based on findings not just from investigators with the FBI and Utah Department of Public Safety, but also from the Republican lieutenant governor’s office and a GOP-led House committee...."

A primer on Utah reforms to avoid Swallow-Shurtleff scandals | The Salt Lake Tribune

The two parties seem to keep each other in check.

If anyone was paying any attention during the Halliburton administration, the answer to this question should be obvious.

Really? Want to compare achievements, standards of living or technological advancements of leftist leaning countries to others? Oh, wait, there are no others left, the us has turned leftist and is failing.
Um, left leaning people make up the vast majority of the US scientific community.

Maybe they know something you don't.

Obama said there's not even a smidgen of corruption at the IRS, so at least we can cross that off the list.

I would have, prior to the Clinton administration and the Obama administration's unending corruption called it a tie.

Clinton co-opted the GSEs into his " fair lending " iniative and appointed Criminals to run them into the ground.

The GSEs under Democrat leadership falsified signatures in the 90s, and were the subject of two SEC investigations under Bush.

After Fannie Mae was busted in 2004 for reporting Billions in profits never made they promised the SEC that they would, like every other publicly traded Company start reporting their quarterly statements to the SEC.

Of-course, they never did.

Obama ? Lies and more lies to cover up a unprecedented level of corruption

Fast and Furious, Stimulus feeding corrupt Green energy Companies and Public Sector Union's, Benghazzi, IRS targeting based on Political affiliation, his disatrous Foreign policy that defies reason.

The list is never ending.

Voter fraud, bribes, witness tampering, pleading the 5th, extortion, blackmail, targeting of individuals over political beliefs, infidelity...we all know the crimes.

THE QUESTION IS NOT IF BOTH SIDES COMMIT THESE CORRUPT ACTS, BUT WHO DOES IT MORE? ARE DEMS MORE CORRUPT?

Is this a stupid poll? I say yes.

The current model of governance that pervades through the West ensures the protection of the individual under their respective supreme laws, hence liberal democracies still exist. Social democracies are by definition liberal democracies.

It protects the individual? By stealing their money and work to distribute it to those who do nothing for themselves? By taking away their right to self-defense? By using a criminal justice system that encourages crime? By assaulting their religion every opportunity they can? May making people slaves to the "entitlements" they hand out? By weakening the human spirit and destroying free will by not demanding that individuals be responsible for themselves? By destroying opportunities for growth and self improvement in the name of "equality" and fairness?

What to call "supreme laws"? The "right" to steal and leach off others instead of doing for themselves?

I don't lean right or left (people please stop forcing everyone to answer right or left in these polls) but I think they are exactly the same.

Power is what fosters corruption. Whichever party is in power is typically the one with more corruption scandals. The other party then gets elected to "clean up" either the the statehouse or Washington, and soon they start having corruption scandals themselves.

Statistical analysis, be it temperature, economic, whatever… is revised all the time when better data becomes available or when errors are found. This is how science works.

No, they LIED and NO that's NOT how " Science works "

REAL Science has nothing to do we fudged data to achieve the desired outcome. Real Scientific analysis is dependent on empirical data and objective analysis.

But if the Pro-AGW crowd had to depend on actual temperature data, they wouldn't be able to push the manufactured narrative of Global Warming.

How hard is it in this day and age to make accurate Temperature measurements ?

It's not hard at all. In my line of work I use a " Fluke 52 " thermometer with two " K-Type " thermocouples that can take actual temperature measurements that are accurate down to 1/10 of a degree.

Twice a year I send it in to be calibrated by a local lab, and that's all there is to it.

The NOAA didn't mention that there were " errors " in their analysis, they blamed their revision on a calibration issue.

Thanks to 30 years of electronics experience and industrial controls and programming I know that excuse is COMPLETE BULL S***.

You do realize that when you make a comparison between two different datasets that future revisions are possible. In this case, it is datasets between the temperature stations in the 1930s and today. They would not have all been in the same places then, different parts of the country would have been lacking measurements then as compared to today, urban heat islands would have been far more prevalent today, land use and coverage was different then, and so on. This is statistical analysis 101 here, nothing nefarious about it unless one is ignorant of how it works.

Since the end of Vietnam and the Nixon era, can you think of a single crime committed by the Democrats that even comes close to comparing with Iran-Contra? Or the illegal and unprovoked invasion of Iraq? Or the overt pressure Bush put on states attorneys general to start investigations into voter fraud when so many of them refused to do so due to lack of evidence?

Oh, wait - I forgot - we couldn't impeach anyone for any of those crimes, but when Clinton lied about getting a blowjob, well, THAT was impeachment-worthy!

BTW, there was a recent study that found out of the most recent billion votes cast in America since 2000, there have been a total of 31 credible cases of voter fraud, all of which combined makes for what appears to be less than a hundred votes out of the billion cast in hundreds of elections including federal, state, and local.

My favorite scandal of the last 10 years has to be when the Bush Admin Department of the Interior, specifically Minerals Management, was doing coke and and sleeping around (by some accounts orgies) with Oil and Gas company representatives. That is just how hostile that bunch was to environmental protection. I can't think of a single scandal since Nixon that holds a candle to it.

Clinton was not impeached over a blowjob. He was impeached and debarred because he lied under oath. PLEASE state the facts or you might appear like a bit of a daydream johnny.

I have no idea...they are both WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too corrupt for my taste.

I think the more corrupt party is whichever one happens to hold the most power at the time. Two reasons: 1) the party in power has more members, thus increasing their odds of having more bad apples, 2) the party in power has well, more power. And power tends to corrupt. Its harder to be corrupt and sell influence and power when you have little of either.

no vote
this "poll" is silly and childish ..
corruption befalls all..

Lol you have to admire partisanship. It lets people see what they want to see to a truly infantile level. By the way the poll is on a 5th grade level. It's "I'm" not "Im".

Just because republicans are generally more educated and of a higher class and hence know how to use Swiss bank accounts doesn't mean they're any less corrupt than Democrats.

I'd say the only difference between Democrat corruption and Republican corruption is:

A) Republican will put his criminal cash in a Swiss bank account under his wife's name

B) Democrat will put his criminal cash in his refrigerator

Does that make the Republican less corrupt? No.
