The 21st Amendment repealed prohibition, thus codifying my right to beer. Since we had one bait poll about the Second Amendment, I think it's only fair if we give some other Amendments their due.

Maybe if they don't pay to protect my rights not enumerated in the Constitution, they're violating my 9th Amendment rights....

It's not about "violating your rights". There's a lot more to law than rights and violations thereof. But it doesn't violate anyone's rights to have to pay into a system that provides things they personally don't agree with. Otherwise no conscientious objector would ever have to pay taxes.

But I at least appreciate your citing of the ninth amendment. Anytime anyone argues "you don't have a right because the constitution doesn't say you do", they are always wrong.

Go to your employer tomorrow and say that it's your right, and you demand that they give you alcohol because otherwise they are taking away your rights. Let us know how that goes. Especially when you point out that it's really just a BS point about a BS point about Hobby Lobby.

That was the point. Glad you saw it. Too bad you can't see it without a personal attack. Mr. Mod....

Does your employer provide alcohol insurance that provides alcohol with a copay but excludes certain alcohol due to religious beliefs?

I should look into that. Maybe I can still get beer, but not vodka....
