Would you support tax reform that was way more simplified?
- No annual returns required. Tax is either based on a flat schedule deducted from our paychecks or a national sales tax. Its automatic and we don't have to think about like the gas tax already rolled into something we already do like work or buy stuff. If its a sales tax, only the tax is included price published by the merchant. The percentage is public knowledge however.
- No tax deductions. Bye-bye charitable contributions, home mortgage, dependent, etc. deductions.
- Its everybody's country and everybody pays something rich and poor and everyone in between.
- It replaces all other taxes. The city and state governments are funded by distributions from the federal government to simplify things as much as possible for the tax payer.
