I'm a Green and do agree with most of the Written platform. Environmentalists, treehuggers, anti-Big Corporate, pro labor, Green energy, No nukes, Power to the people and not the Monster Money Machines, and the Green platform automatically acknowledges AGM, and the necessary policies and fortitude to mitigate the problems. I equate Greens with labor in the Corporate vs. Labor warfare that has been going on since Charlie Chaplin's era. Most people don't know that.

That is scary. My sister-in-law is like that.

Do you believe in them no matter what? Like if they told you to take up arms against the government, would you do that? I guess what I am asking is if you have a breaking point.

If I was an elected official, yes. As a private citizen I don't have to be loyal to the party. I guess I just say that to make a point. I hate disloyal Republicans that cause the party to be ineffective.

We need people of principle to run this country. It's time we kicked out the politicians.

535 people standing on 535 different sets of principles doesn't accomplish anything in a Republic. If we had a dictatorship, a personal of principle would be good.

With a democratic-republic you have to have a majority vote to accomplish anything. People with principles are obstructionist and should be voted out when the next election comes around unless their voter base likes it when the opposite party beats them. It makes no sense to vote for a Republican if you want the democrats to get their way.

i voted the party is at my house. i'd say BYOB, but ****, that's probably not even necessary. just handle your ****, is all i ask.

as for political parties, meh. if i could push a button and eliminate that system, i might. i would DEFINITELY eliminate gerrymandering, though. that's a big contributor to all of the idiocy.

sadly most such people cannot tolerate the BS from the press.

So - if you were an elected official. Say, you were a Congressman, and you were told, by your party, that Obama was the anti-Christ, and you had to kill him - you would do that?

too many citizens have placed their party allegiance above that loyalty given to their country

What if someone doesn't see much point in being loyal to a country?

For those that are part of a political party. Do you fully agree with your party's platform? If not what parts of it do you not agree with?

I refuse to identify with a political party.

I find the phrasing of the question curious, though. I would be suspicious of anyone who *fully* agreed with their party. That tells me their nothing but an easily-led mindless bot.

I would vote with the party to kill the president, yes. I wouldn't pour water on my head because the party said that I should pour water on my head. I would vote with the party. Surely you understand the difference.

I wouldn't let them dictate my personal decision. The party would dictate 100% of my decisions as a congressman.

I don't want to disappoint you though by refusing to respond to your foolish scenario. If I was a military personnel and I was order to kill the president, I would not kill the president. The reason being is because the President is the highest person in the military's chain of command.

As a congressman I would not be required to kill the president. As a military personnel I would not be required to kill the president.

I would vote with the party 100% of the time even in the scenario that you described. Would I physically do the deed? That is not the job of a congressman. If you honestly don't know what I mean by being 100% loyal to the party, I will continue to try to explain it to you. I have this feeling that you know exactly what I mean.
