I don't mind paying taxes to fund the social safety net. This country would be a real hell hole without it. And I do not consider those who are much less fortunate than myself to be parasites. And I certainly do not resent those truly in need of government assistance. I know I could have ended up in their shoes.

What I resent is when my hard earned tax dollars get squandered by politicians then they want me to pay even more.
