100% correct!

these types of dishonest and factually false arguments EMPOWER racism, CONDONE it and help it spread

Differentiating between a social construct, and the social aspects of a social construct, from bigotry is not empowering or condoning anything.

Spare us the BS strawman.

You are you posts prove this fact. You condone and excuse racism based on your opinions. That is a fact and its part of the problem, almost equally as bad as the racism itself.

BS. I differentiate between racism and bigotry. I do not condone anything.

But equating racism with bigotry (as you do), that DOES empower and condone racism.

Not an acronym, then end of the word. It denotes a culture developed by society. Not an individual act.

One cannot do racism alone. It's a culture one can take part in.

this is also factually false to anybody that understands basic English.

racism can in fact be a individual act just like many many other isms LMAO:lamo

Yeah, I just have grad degrees including sociology, but I don't understand basic English.

Stay ignorant, I don't care. I will not be bothering with you.

1.)BS.
2.)I differentiate between racism and bigotry. I do not condone anything.
3.)But equating racism with bigotry, that DOES empower and condone racism.

1.) 100% true you condone, support and empower racist and racism with the hypocritical dishonest in your posts.
2.) yes you call factual racism by a different name which is exactly why you are condoning it and excusing it. Thank you for proving us right.
3.) Good thing nobody here is doing that LMAO

not to mention that doesnt even make sense on any rational level.
Sorry nobody believes the lies continue in your posts because they have been destroyed countless times by facts while you have none. ZERO, zip, notta. Buts its hilarious watching you try :)

You keep defending racism if you like we will not.

100% false as links and facts prove and you still haven't provided ONE fact that supports such a mentally inept, factually false and dishonest "stance"
There are no 100% things. There are no absolutes except this statement.

1.)Yeah, I just have grad degrees including sociology, but I don't understand basic English.
2.)Stay ignorant, I don't care. I will not be bothering with you.

1.) yes you prove that over and over again
2.) failed deflections wont work, you are factually wrong and that wont change whether you bother with me or not.
Thats the best part about facts, they dont care about your feelings and wrong opinions. Yesterday the OP example was factually racism, today it is factually racism and tomorrow it will factually be racism. lol

You let us know when you have ONE single FACT to change that . . . one :)

Spare us the BS strawman.

SOrry the rest of us wont be buying your proven wrong posts or condoning and empowering racism like your views do. We actually treat things for what they factually are not some made up unsupportable proven wrong opinions.

Why does the definition describe an individual action, then?

Definition 1 and 3 seem to include individual actions.

Definition 1 and 3 seem to include individual actions.

The individual action (bigotry) does not constitute racism (a social construct) without 2.

I know racists hate whole definitions. They want to equate a black talking crap with systemic oppression every single day of ones life.

Because they want to support racism.

Thinking even the whole definition is the beginning and the end of the concept is stupid anyway. Anyone that thinks the dictionary is the end all be all of understanding is a moron.

What the hell are you talking about? Dictionary definitions are separated into parts because the word being defined only needs meet one definition to be used in a given situation.

That's how dictionary definitions WORK.

So what is this bull**** about "whole definitions".

And I couldn't be persuaded to give a single **** about what a racist thinks - they're being racist and thus their opinions on what constitutes racism do not count.

Look, dude, if you want to equate oppression every single day of ones life with a black person spewing crap that will NEVER mean anything to me AT ALL... go ahead.

I'm tired to trying to explain sociological concepts to people with an education that consists only of a partial dictionary definition.

Keep equating a lifetime of real oppression with meaningless BS.

you're mistake is thinking logically, honestly and using facts. DOnt do that, then youll understand.

You can say anything on the Internet, but only your posts can (maybe) prove it. Yours do not.

OTOH, you may be an example of accumulated knowledge but no understanding. It happens.

Whatever.

Black people can spew all the racial bigotry they want and it will never matter to me one bit. It will never affect my ability to get housing, schooling, employment or a fair shake in court. I can SAFELY ignore black racial bigotry, and it will never ever affect my life in any way. It's totally meaningless to me personally. I can laugh at them knowing I'm untouchable.

A black person, though, is affected by white racial bigotry (racism) every single day of their life.

Please post ONE fact that supports the lie that black people in america cant be racist.
Continuing to support racism like your posts do wont change anything.

ONE fact is all we need, we'd love to read it.

Until you can each post you make pushing that lie will continue to fail and get proven fatally wrong. :)

As a hypothetical, let us say that at some point now or in the future, society is partially or fully accepting of racism directed against white persons, due to racism perpetuated by white persons in the past (slavery, jim crow, etc).

Would that be racism? Because society accepts/supports the racism of the individuals?

Y'know the definition of racism in the eyes of conservatives? If it's an racist act, that's not racism, but it's somebody performing a constitutionally-protected act - but if it's liberals pointing out racism, well, it's obviously the liberals who are being racist!

So you can ignore racism. That proves nothing.

A black person cannot? That is debatable but they can be impacted by individual racism as well as anything imposed by the state.

Your 'highly educated' limits are showing......

Right, a black person cannot escape unjust discrimination; they must live with it every day of their life, in every aspect of life. I, however, am never and will never be affected by unjust discrimination in any meaningful way.

"Individual racism" is an individual act of racism (racial bigotry which is supported by the majority power and the system). "Individual racism" =/= bigotry.

Your 'highly educated' limits are showing......

How many ad homs? Your insults are boring.

I've have my education. MSc, PhD(c). I've traveled the world, lived in Europe and Africa. I've given members my real name and I've met members. Pics (of myself and the village I spent two years in, alone) are available at my profile in the album.

Now, back to the subject. Can you understand that black racial bigotry means nothing to me personally? It will never affect me. Complaining about it, on a personal level, is totally BS. Is bigotry a bad thing in general? Of course. But black racial bigotry has no impact on my life and it never will.

Can you understand that it's different for blacks? They can't ignore it, because it does have meaning. It does affect them; their whole life.

So, if you can grasp that difference, then you will understand the social aspects of racism as compared to racial bigotry.
