No. You are using flawed logic.

You are correct as I am using your logic. The difference is I used recognized your logic as flawed and used it purposefully.

Man, that there devil sure has got a tongue on him! :lamo

The Jesus of life doesn't have to match the future cultural references and observances. He's a tool.

You are speaking nonsense.
He Jesus should be represented as he was, whether he is a creation ort not, just as Santa should be represented as created.

He Jesus should be represented as he was, whether he is a creation ort not, just as Santa should be represented as created.

As a fictional character, Santa is being created every time someone imagines him.

So yes you are essentially correct

Wrong.
A difference in clothing has nothing to do with skin color.
That is failed logic on your behalf.

Micky was a black mouse, as Santa was a white human.

So we should abandon lily white Santa Claus with his red coat, reindeer, sleigh, and so forth and return to his original depiction?

There is nothing special about the race of a fictional character it is a detail, just as are clothes, personality traits, or pretty much anything else. The desire to compare specific details is simply elevating on detail over another.

No, clothes of a character can be changed as they are nothing but clothes, but things about the character physical appearance should not be altered. To compare clothes to things like race, sex, hair and eye color is ridiculous.

I already explained why it is relevant. So far your response is "wrong" which insufficient for a debate forum.

I already explained why this is not the case

Wrong.
You are obviously confused as Santa is something that has already been created and established.
As created, Santa is a white human male.

As was Mickey in the 30s

Still a white guy.

And you were wrong.

I'm going to stop responding to this kind of reply until you summon enough brain cells to actually do more than insist.

As was Mickey in the 30s
Oy vey. And he is still a black mouse isn't he. That hasn't changed has it?
Of course not.
As Henrin pointed out, those characteristics haven't changed, nor should they.

The same hold for Santa. He is a white male.
Get over it.

I already explained why other details are important, you need to update your logic to counter the hole I pointed out in your initial stance.

Completely relevant. Your argument is that because the initial concept of Santa is white then Santa must be white. In other words the original set of details of a fictional concept sets the benchmark for it.

The initial concept of Mickey Mouse is without gloves. Does Mickey Mouse wear gloves?
You are conflating two distinctly different issues.

The characteristics of the character. White human male vs black male mouse.
And the clothes they may wear.
It is irrelevant to each other, an asinine comparison and illogical.

Micky donning gloves matters not to his portrayed skin color, sex or species.
He is still a black male mouse, just as Santa is a white male human.

I've already pointed out why it's appropriate to do so. To summarize a concept is the summation of all details about a character, therefore all details are of importance.

Please continue to update your argument.

WOW! Looks like the yes votes have surged ahead!
