Do people leave political notes on your car?

Do people leave you notes

this is another example, of people who cannot control their emotions.

because they FEEL someone is making a statement they disagree with ,they some how should respond, BY LEAVING A NOTE!

recognize you have no right to leave a note of my car ....i know i know....... no one can stop them....however being mature, and being able to control your emotions, and respecting others peoples property is something we are seeing less and less of, people now acting out of emotion instead of judging situations by their intelligence.

if the note is truly by a doctor, .i am surprised, .....because someone with the captivity of medical skills, the degree of education to lose control and write a ridiculous note with foul language.....is the sign of lowbrow, lower intelligence., these are the kind of things i would expect from some kid to young adult, who has not matured, has not a good developed mental capacity for thinking yet.

It is clear the owner of the car has no respect for his own property so I don't expect anybody else to have respect of it.

But remember, Grant, only liberals vandalize cars over bumper stickers.

No, only extremists do and there are plenty of extremists on both sides.

I know that and you know that. Other posters in the thread like to play the "your side's worse" game.

respect for his own property...would you care to explain that?..because it makes no sense.

Look how he treats the car. it is a trash heap. Do you not see that in the pictures?

I have bumper stickers....have received notes....and have left notes for people. What's the issue? You put bumper stickers on your car to exercise your first amendment right to make a statement. Why does this preclude others from responding?

Tea Partiers and Occupy Wall street, so what? Both look mostly like people with too much time and not enough brains

So you believe there is no difference between the Tea Party protesters and the Occupy Wall Street protesters?

People who leave notes responding to bumperstickers are flatheaded morons. That said, making one's car a billboard for your thoughts on politics advertises that you wish to hear from the other side. It makes your car a moron magnet.

If you want to go through the hassle, install cameras. Better yet, remove the stickers from your car.

does he destroy the cars ability to function....no ....he does not.

if you keep your body clean, and eat right, however you wear green shoes, red pants, blue shirt, ,white bow tie, and purple glass, are you disrespecting yourself, and should other people disrespect you to because of what you wear?

if so, i should be looking on a great many people with disdain in our world, even the great amount who shop at walmart.....unless someone is violating the rights of another, or the health and a saftey of the public.......it not my right or job, to mess with a person or his property.

my property is mind, if i were to disrespect it, then that is my business.... not yours or anyone else, to disrespect it either by touching it.

Wow...just looking at the pictures...it's insane the huge age gap between the two.

Yes, it sort of demonstrates the value systems between the generations and the direction the US is taking. The young may win, but what will they win?

you don't have a right to leave anything on my car..its my property...

if you want to exercise your 1st, then wait for me,...say your peace and move on.

Because your anonymous opinion is not being requested and private property means private property. It should not be tampered with..

There is definitely a different value system between the two. I don't see it as good or bad though. The Tea Party generation obviously had different views than their parents. The world turns and every generation is going to influence government based on their value system.

I've never had that happen, but I also don't have any bumper stickers on my car.

They have different ideas, but they are both members of the populist rabble. The establishment was right to try to nullify both.

Oh puh-lease. People leave flyers and stuff on people's cars all the time. I'm sorry....but if you get all bent out of shape over someone leaving a note, perhaps maybe you should rethink putting the bumper stickers on.

Its not being requested any more than your opinion is being requested. Leaving a note on a vehicle is not damaging in anyway.....I wouldn't condone keying someone's car because you don't like their bumper stickers or tampering with the stickers or removing them etc.....but if you get so bent out of shape over someone responding to your political messages....maybe you aren't mature enough to put them on in the first place.

that is true....however do i want the flyers...no, i can stop them and i cant stop people putting notes on my car........but the simple fact is......WHY ARE YOU PUTTING NOTES ON PEOPLES CAR?.......do you not respect their property?..its clear you dont!

you think because someone has put bumper sticks on their car..and again their car...this empowers YOU to put something on their car...it does not.

i don't know why the population of america today's thinks it has rights to do things with other people's property....

if we left other people and their property alone, we would have less problems in america.

Dude.....there is a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference between damaging someone's car or even defacing bumper stickers and leaving someone a note. Sorry....but you aren't going to convince me or most people that leaving a note on someone's car somehow causes irreperable harm to the vehicle. It comes down to maturity. If you feel mature enough to express a political opinion, more power to you, but be prepared to be countered on it. I would never leave the type of note that the OP refers to saying "You're an idiot", but I might leave a note pointing out the facts of why the message expressed is not entirely accurate or completely incorrect. I used to have a "George Bush is a Lesbian" bumper sticker on my car (25 years ago). I would get all kinds of notes many of which we humorous and made me laugh, several which were so completely over the top angry...which made me laugh and a slew in between. It never bothered me in the least because I kind of expected that if I expected people to read by point of view....I would open myself up to theirs. I reiterate....If you are so emotionally upset over someone posting a note on your car, perhaps expressing yourself in the bumper stickers is something you need to rethink. Its probably not worth the emotional aggravation that it causes you.

dude.....you are not empowered to mess with others peoples' property......if you left a note, or spit on his car....

in putting bumper stickers on car, that person is exercising a right.......you or anyone else, cannot exercise a right over his rights.

the lack of respect for property is the largest reason we have problems in the world.

Seriously dude....I have a hard time seeing how leaving a note on someone's car, that causes ZERO damage to the vehicle displays any "lack of respect" for property. Seems to me that what you are REALLY advocating for a shouting an opinion to the world and not having to live with the consequences. Typical of the right-wing view.....which is much more of a problem than leaving a note on a car that causes zero damage, i.e., the lack of accepting responsibility for one's actions and expecting to be free of consequences when "exercising free speech rights"....

Reminds me of a t-shirt that I saw the other day, which was probably the most offensive t-shirt I have personally ever seen. It said "Jesus is a _____" (Four letter C word for female genitalia). I'm not overly religious but I thought the shirt was completely disrespectful, vulgar and flat out rude. I thought to myself....sure, the guy has every right to wear that shirt, but he's an idiot for doing so...he's going to end up with a fist in his face or worse.....hey.....express your opinion all you want, but don't expect to be free of the consequences for "Exercising that right".
