So now the democraps dont want the credit for the law they passed?
Huh i wonder why.

Huh? Do you always just ask totally irrelevant questions to people who weren't even discussing the ACA?

I posted the only bumper any needs on their car, so i am getting this BS about how its the repukes fault we got this very wonderful unaffordable healthcare.

well it is proving to be a disaster of a law, guess that is the repukes fault also huh?

It appears that you quite enjoy mischaracterizations, because again...I never said anything close to that. I never said it was the "Republicans fault". I simply pointed out the error in the one-line bumper sticker that you are embracing. The reality is, the ACA is really not proving to be a "disaster of a law", in fact, despite its many flaws more and more people are embracing the law which is why you are hearing less and less from the Republicans about attempting to repeal it. Because the reality is, they will not repeal it and the law will continue to grow in popularity as the poll numbers indicate. Its a shame that it couldn't have been better. We are stuck with what we got, but I am optimistic that in the future, the insurance mandate will be replaced with a public option and eventually we will progress to single payer. However, that will take a great deal of effort and time.

Certainly....wouldn't bother me at all. As long as you don't deface or destroy the yard sign, I'm emotionally secure enough to deal with and accept the free exchange of ideas. Now, if it were a death threat, that would be a different story. See....I accept the reality that by taking a political position, there may be others who disagree with me. I'm ok with that.

ok, you might be...but everyone is not you, and they don't want people doing this own their property, ...which is all i am saying respect other property[regardless how you feel] , because you don't know how they view their own property.

Personally, I think political bumper stickers are okay a few months before the election to election day. Then they probably should come off. But to each his own.

YOu are in Washington with a California plate?

That might be part of your problem.

Why? Both are blue states in terms of general population.

I am curious, wouldn't it be cheaper to get a Washington State license plate?

Here is another bumper sticker that you may like:

Since my car is not in the state of Cali right now, I don't have to pay all the enivormental fees taxed by the state and the county of San Diego, so right now it is cheaper then converting to WA plates.

His location says Washington and his plate is from California.

People in Oregon and Washington hate Californians.

First why? All three are blue states. Second I bought the car when I was station at Camp Pendleton, CA.

I remember one time finding a note on my car.

But that was because I parked in a parking spot someone thought was theirs.

At the time, the facility where I work (which is a state-owned building mainly used by a state agency) had attempted to start using a numbered parking spot system (because some state employees were complaining about having to walk further then they wanted), but this was apparently far too complex (or something), so they stopped trying to enforce it...after painting lines and numbers over a good portion of the parking lot, of course.

Only not everyone got the message, apparently, so someone was all like "that's my spot, damnit, how dare you park there."

For a bit I was worried, but after double-checking I realized whoever wrote the note was just uninformed.

Oh I know.

I fond the pic on the internet when I did a search for "The Mark", and decided to use it, mainly because it's obviously incorrect.

It's actually intended as a half-joking dig at people who think the number 666 has any significant significance.

You have to know the history.

Californians move up there after selling their expensive homes and push up the prices of local homes.

This has been going on for decades.

I am lucky when I moved to Oregon I had Nevada plates on my car.

Californians don't get good service at the gas stations in Oregon.

I do not have bumper signs but if you fly your colors that obviously you might get negative responses and maybe a few notes but keying is unacceptable IMHO

I have never had this problem and I have a Gadsden Flag on my truck's bumper. If I we're you I'd be setting up a webcam and then pressing charges. :-/

((not for the notes...those types are just ass holes...but the idiots that damage your car...nail them)).

I was thinking of Oshkosh, specifically, as they repaired the trucks we got blown up in.

I know one thing, I didn't even make your $88K for my year, and yet here you are crying about it. Maybe that's why the public doesn't care to give you a special honor.

Thank you for your response.

It's been a while but I used to have a stack of cards that a printer friend of mine gave me. They were business card size and made to put them under the windshield wipers of dickheaded selfish bastards and car driving cretins who parked over the line and took up two spaces. The cards read:

"If you f*ck like you park there's an excellent possibility that you never get it in."

Didn't take me long to run out of cards.

So I work as an full time optician as I go to school for my BA. I have a some political bumper stickers on my car. At least once a week I have some leaving a noteor my car being keyed up because they disagree with me. So I was wondering does this happen to anyone else on the forum and if so what do you do. Attach below are pictures of my bumper stickers and the note on my car from today.

Ooh, the wealthy Dem doctor feels so strong about his opinion that he can't sign his name.

However, having said that, your car does look like crap.

Another anonymous note no better than that unknown doctors. This is great for those who appreciate irony.

best insult to injury, leave the note in the parking lot. I have never gotten any passive aggressive hate mail on my car, I think I would laugh if I did.

I have never had political bumper stickers on my car. I have an American flag one and two surfing ones... surfers don't get all that riled up. Too early and too cold.

Wasn't a doctor, though. You can read his writing.

Mags... you just made me laugh out loud! Good thing I had just swallowed my beer.

`
My political bumper sticker says; Honk if you're horny. I get no notes but a lot of honks.

How would you know if they were just honking because you're driving badly?
