Greetings, CJ. :2wave:
My main concern has always been what happens when they have no choice but to be responsible for themselves and they honestly don't know how? Schools aren't teaching Home Ec and other programs like that any more, it seems, and few know how to even bake bread to stay alive. That is the only reason I volunteer to teach people how to can and dry foods for future use, and CJ, the classes are getting so large that it might become impossible to help everyone that wants to learn, unless more people volunteer. Math and Engineering are important, but it doesn't feed hungry little kids when there aren't enough jobs to earn money, and the Moms I teach are so happy to learn that some have cried. Even the poor worry about the future, and what it might be like for them and their families when government isn't there to help them. We've been very fortunate so far, but our $17 trillion dollar...and climbing...debt will one day catch up with us, I fear, because a rise in interest rates will take money away from those that need help. Sad...
