Scenario: I drive a car and I don't intentionally sabotage every running car out there.

Global warning doesnt care if you support it.

I support global warming. I even have a "I Heart Global Warming" bumper sticker on my car.

I voted for the third option, however to be clear, it was not aimed at you given that I understand exactly why you started this thread.

It was pretty thinly veiled.

Thinly veiled??? It was damned transparent. And I loved it. I found a picture on their Facebook page:

But it clearly does HARM. You shouldn't support something that does HARM.

Says who? A warm planet is a happy planet.

No, Gip, you don't support global warming. You're crappy little 4 banger is meaningless.

I voted yes, you flower-hating racist. I don't care how far you must commute to work everyday to support the lives of your family, you're ruining my pimpernels!

I'm very concerned about global warming so I drive a Smart Car. I keep it in the back of my Hummer.

Obviously, you must support it.... as do I. Doing my part is a "going downhill with a stiff tailwind 10mpg vehicle".

Together, we can make a real difference in the world; lengthen the growing season, increase the number of high value oceanfront properties, and be solely responsible for saving countless souls from freezing to death.

A truly magnanimous and altruistic undertaking.

After surviving the (1970s) ominously forecasted misery and doom caused by a return of the ice age (circa 1970-80s) it is a duty to prevent the return of such a cataclysmic event.

Using copious amounts of petroleum and other carbon based products is one small step for man to assure a warm and comfortable lifestyle for all. Tis a noble cause for world peace and joy.

Future plans do not include sabotaging all Prius, other electric, and high mileage vehicles (yet).

Do be encouraged to Not support those who lack belief in the benefits of a warm and free to choose individualistic society for you will then cause to be brought about a great evil of inequality of lifestyle desires for a warm and comfy " I have rights because I am here" populace.

May the warm force be with us all.

Gobbledygook, gobbledygook, blah, blah, blah.....

Nonsensical post seems akin to those who do not understand your point...

Keep on keepin' on, Gip

How many of these threads are there going to be?

This is how I usually get to work:

25 miles each way on the freeway? Rain, shine, extreme heat, snow? No thanks!

It's 7 to 8 miles each way for me. I don't ride in if it's storming, snowing, or under 25 degrees out. I can ride in as quick as I can drive it though.

When I saw this thread yesterday I was inspired to drive the giant Dodge 4x4 pick up that gets 12 mpg. Fence posts and out buildings burst into flames here and there as I drove by.

I think that's what we call 'tacit support'.

If you use electronics, you also tacitly support conflict minerals.

If you use non-fair trade coffee and cocoa, you tacitly support serfdom.
