Another Korean war?

North and South Korea have fired a thousand missiles into each others territory. Usually I would give this little chance of escalating but it seems we are being tested world wide with this weak president we have. I'm begining to wonder if NK is thinking if there ever was a good time to invade SK it is right now with obama at the helm.

SEOUL, South Korea — North and South Korea fired hundreds of artillery shells into each other’s waters Monday in a flare-up of animosity that forced residents of five front-line South Korean islands to evacuate to shelters for several hours, South Korean officials said.
The exchange of fire into the Yellow Sea followed Pyongyang’s sudden announcement that it would conduct live-fire drills in seven areas north of the Koreas’ disputed maritime boundary. North Korea routinely test-fires artillery and missiles into the ocean but rarely discloses those plans in advance. The announcement was seen as an expression of Pyongyang’s frustration at making little progress in its recent push to win outside aid.
North Korea fired 500 rounds of artillery shells over more than three hours, about 100 of which fell south of the sea boundary, South Korean Defense Ministry spokesman Kim Min-seok said. South Korea responded by firing 300 shells into North Korean waters, he said.

Wow. This has to be the worst ever strawman of all time ever.

Do you know how often North Korea attacks the South and other countries such as Japan?

They shelled South Korean Island killing several South Korean citizens,
they murdered Japanese citizens on Japanese soil,
they kidnapped South Korean and Japanese citizens sometimes even murdering them,
they attempted to assassinate several South Koren leaders,
they attempted to disrupt the Olympic games in South Korea through terror attacks,
they maintain illehgal arms smuggling and maintenace activities with all sorts of scum countries,
they kidnapped and murdered US and Lebanese citizens,
they actively grew and sold opium to Burma drug lords,
they spread counterfit money all across the globe.

And all of that, despite whatever administration there was in the whitehouse, for the last 60 years.

They dont care whos the president. They are a nation of delusional scumbags lead by a dynasty of fat morons who have been comiting crimes no matter what happens in the world.

Why do you think that they are so isolated!?

As I said in the OP I would usually yawn at this exchange of missiles precisely because of the previous events you listed. I have to wonder though with this coming on the heels of our inaction in Syria and Kosovo if NK might think if ever the time was right it is now.

And let Syria rott. It`s people who fly planes into skyscrapers fighting people who want to kill all jews.

It`s like the Iran Iraq war, we want both sides to lose.
 
No. You see, North Korea knows something that apparently many Americans don't. That there's more than just one country representing "western powers".

Regardless of the US, there is Germany, England, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Etc.

One country does not a planet make.

I realize some are trying to push the Obama just got punked mantra in order to push for war but there is a couple of things to consider-

1.We are still technically at war with North Korea, it never stopped. An armistice is not a peace treaty nor is it a end to war.

2.North Korea does this **** every now and then. They throw a tantrum and many times demand aid. List of border incidents involving North Korea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So if North Korea doesn't invade will it be seen as a sign of strength? I'll agree to that
