Tigger is the diametric opposite of a libertarian. On a scale of one to ten, where someone who leans mostly libertarian is a 7 and an extremist is a 10, Tigger is at least a -20.

Both are going to be very interesting. Hillary's entry into the festivities is only a done deal in the minds of the public, there are BIG question marks, not the least of which is her and Bill's health. She will be a force whether in or out, the Clintons will be a force, as will the Obama faction. Whoever wins, will have to solve Obamacare, either distance themselves, or find an acceptable change that won't be disruptive....again. That will be the art, the true entertainment of the piece, as all the Democrats have to go pretzel on that, and much of the Obama administration's record.

The Republicans, meanwhile, will have their first opportunity since 2004 to be at least even coming out of the gate, but the what of it all will be a matter of what they do with the mid terms. If they win both houses, as they are likely to do, stars will inevitably surface. If they are smart, it will be a field of a lot of new faces, which will be a huge change from what the Dems will likely come up with, whether Hillary runs or not. Nonetheless, the Republican power base will have shifted with control of both houses. The Republican primary will remain the more interesting so long as they don't revert top type by circling the wagons and shooting inward.

While I get what you are trying to say, people are libertarians because they realize man is not perfect, and that no one man (or small group of men) should decide what we should do with our personal lives.

I agree with your synopsis, but what if Jeb Bush wins the primary? Then a Bush will have to lead the GOP through a post Bush transitional phase.

That sounds nearly impossible. How would Jeb accomplish criticizing his brothers legacy and argue to leave it behind without causing personal life drama... or would Jeb try to clean up his brothers legacy and down play criticism. Jeb would have the hardest job of any republican to be a post Bush candidate.

The Obama brand hasn't been (thus far) too detrimental for the Party's innards, so whether or not the Democratic Party will continue down the direction of liberal (Obama represented a transformative candidate with naive presumptions that he would be a transformative form of a liberal), but not very liberal voice will be interesting to see. That being said, there's little utter dissatisfaction within the Democratic Party thus far.
