They cant help it...it's the strongest urge for any organism, including humans. So it doesnt make anyone superior....for many, it's the path of least resistance...sex feels good, they have sex, someone gets pregnant, and then doesnt bother to have a abortion.

Just like a cat or opossum.

It's what someone MAKES of their life...or their offspring's life...that may make them superior.

Agreed... except for the omission of the "an" in front of opossum, that is.

Since there is no 'quality' involved in breeding among humans....again....*anyone* can breed, the lowliest POS's....and they do....there isnt much value in just breeding, adding bodies, genes.

Again, it's quality over quantity that matters.


Actual contributions to society are more important IMO, whether you reproduce or not, but if you reproduce then it's your responsibility to do it responsibly and raise the offspring to contribute as well.

Not really... all that person is doing is contributing to the gene pool. If they are contributing inferior genes then they are not superior.
 
I say the first choice with a few exceptions. My daughter needs to learn that hard work is what gets her what she wants NOT me. If she wants an iPhone like me when she's older she needs to at least mow a few lawns or do a bunch of chores. A lot of times, kids that are 10 or younger are given these smartphones and you already know they got it after they whined they didn't like their PSP or their 3DS. I want to smack the **** out the parents, and the kids that do this.

I admit being a separated/single parent I want to give her all I can, but she is only 3 right now, and down the line I think it would be best that she mows a lawn or does some farm work. For god sakes, I had my first tax paying job at 14 as a paperboy and apparently that is illegal now (I'm 28 now) but why should that be illegal? When I was 15 I got a business license for a website, would they make that illegal now?

Anyways, I will 100% support her in anything she chooses to do and encourage her in every way I can, but I also will try to steer her towards things I think would be better for her. If she doesn't like them then that's fine. Obviously my opinion could change especially when she is a teenager. I was (and still am) an asshole when I was a teenager and I started dating her mother when she was a teenager and know how she is...as long as she isn't promiscuous I think I'll be good.
