Ever been poor in a red state? Sorry, you can pretend, but it just ain't so. I believe Southern Democrat has presented numerous posts recently with the stats and graphs that prove the facts. Please see if you can find them.

First, you can ride that red state/blue state unicorn for only so long before you just have to realise what a fiction it is. EVERY state is varying shades of purple. Second, the cost of living and conditions in those states bust all the idiot biased graphs SD likes to foist around.

I've been poor in both largely republican and democrat majority states/localities, here's a clue - it sucks no matter where you are poor.

Which embassies are you referring to?
How about the one in Beirut?
Any others you can think of?
Selective outrage with historical revision is not your friend ?

Now pay attention........The embassies you mentioned were tragic...The difference is there was no lying and cover up about them...........Surely someone as partisan as you can see the difference?????

So either you are so intensely partisan you see what isn't there, or you just plain make crap up.

Sen Cruz didn't call for Obama's Impeachment, he simply said what it takes to Impeach A President. He spouts the TP CON dribble to the Sarasota GOP chapter (big world stage there) but in the end he is just sitting on his hands.

One thing I have noticed about some TP CONs, they make up crap to suit their bias. Once there were CONs who didn't make crap up and knew what they were talking about, now they are very few and far between.

Oops.....Did you need another one? How many will it take to prove that you are wrong and didn't know WTF you were talking about.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) suggested impeaching President Barack Obama because he is not enforcing the laws of the country.

In a Newsmax interview with Steve Malzberg published on Saturday, Cruz said that the commander in chief had been “lawless.”.....snip~

RNC hosts 200 staffers for 'unprecedented' field training ahead of 2014.....

The Republican National Committee had 200 staffers in this week for field training with the goal of catching up with — and eventually surpassing — its Democratic counterparts' ground game efforts in 2014.

The organization has made it a priority to hire more state-level field staff than in previous years and ramp up its digital capabilities, following a 2012 election in which Democrats had a big advantage both on the ground and online.

The group says it now has state directors, field staff, data directors, minority engagement directors and field staff in every 2014 targeted state, and will spend the early part of 2014 focusing on recruiting volunteers and precinct captains, and mining data to find their targeted voters.

"At the RNC we've recruited some of the best talent from around the country to head up out voter engagement with all communities across all 50 states. This week was a first step in training and equipping our new team with the best practices and tools for us to win elections next year," says Shields in an email.....snip~

Are ya sure? I think I have another piece around here somewhere with what Priebus had to say as the Official RNC Head. I am pretty sure he has mentioned he has talked to all those responsible in the 50.

I heard Preibus say that we needed to be more inclusive. He said that we need to make efforts to attract women, hispanics and blacks. Historically (and I'm talking about thousands of years) black people are social liberals. This is the same case for hispanics. Women supposedly are either pro-choice or secretly pro-choice but pretend to be pro-life.

We hate Obama. We hate taxes. We hate abortion. This doesn't sound like a very good way to recruit women, hispanics and blacks. Preibus was pretty much saying that Republicans should be more flexible, realistic and focus more on winning. I didn't witness that when I attended the convention. The message I heard was opposite of Preibus's 2013 message to Republicans. The Republicans that attended our convention would be willing to die for their principles and if the Republican Party dies with them, that's ok. At least they stood up for what was right.

The Republican Party is being ran by wacko's. I hope 2015 is a better year. Average people aren't interested in being involved. The nut jobs are the ones attracted to political activity. I think it's just the nature of the beast.

Yeah and he doesn't want any more Murdocks and Atkins running around with the mouths......now those High profiles he might not be able to hold back. Such as Cruz or Rand Paul. But he has sent word about any others.

Poor is when you have none of those things.

Then I would say very few Americans have ever been poor. The US government defines it differently.

I very vividly remember finding out I was poor in 1993. My parents always told me that we were middle class. I never questioned it. My president Bill Clinton told me that middle class was defined as families earning between $70,000 and $200,000 per year. Boy did that change my world view. I have my suspicions it changed the way a lot of Americans viewed their lot in life.

People want to remember Bill Clinton for Monica Lewinsky but I will remember him as the president who made everybody poor just by changing the definition.

I think there would be a lot more happy people if the government would define poverty as people earning less than $2 per day. Most people have plenty but they have been convinced that they are barely above poverty. I think there is an agenda behind convincing people to think this way but I have yet to understand what it is.

I know. The OP was very generic. It was like we were being asked if he should be impeached for being Obama. To me that isn't a very good reason to impeach a president. Yes. He is the only president to have that name but I still don't think it's a good enough reason.

Oh no, saying that will only invite single word responses, like "Obamacare," "Benghazi," or "IRS."

After all his bungling and violating the constitution should Obama be impeached? please put your partisan views aside right or left and try and answer the question honestly.

Before I vote, please answer me this---what exactly has he done that no other president before him has done without impeachment?

That is very likely but these aren't sufficient charges either. The charges have to be specific. I don't think Andrew Jackson, Richard Nixon or Bill Clinton were brought up on impeachment charges with one word, two words, one sentence or two sentences. The charges were very specific in nature. Elected Republicans aren't stupid enough to do that. There are some Republicans stupid enough to do that but those type of Republicans will never run for office. These type of Republicans prefer complaining rather than doing.

That question has been posed in this thread several times. The three people who voted yes must not know the answer.

Well that was more or less my point. You have to make a specific charge, and oftentimes when asked what scandals Obama is responsible for the aforementioned single words are brought up as though we are meant to fill in the complete argument for why those charges are legitimate.

I didn't realize the vote was so close. I'm going to go vote now.

And a powerful vote it is....certainly swayed reality, welcome to the new Republican mindset.

I would wish you luck out of precious loyalty....but sadly, cannot.

 What?

As for impeachment, no. It makes zero sense at this point even if you could make a valid case for high crimes and misdemenors (which I seriously doubt).
Besides, if it succeeds we'd be left with President Biden, and nobody wants that.

Biden might argue that point with you.

We voted the same thing.

Are you saying that there is not a sufficient amount of dirt to open an Official Inquiry as to if, there is enough proof to go for impeachment or not?

How about rolling back his Law over his Care package and not going thru Congress......for one. What about the IRS and his firing of IGO when he went after Obama' pal Kevin Johnson the Mayor of Sacramento. Then there is that Nasty Benghazi issue that he cant get rid of.....which could include weapons to Syria.

What about Wire Tapping the AP phones in the House of Representatives?

Pick one and start a new thread. This thread didn't specify any charges. I voted no.
