Couple hundred bucks a day. That's why the government needs to stop figuring out new ways to dig into my damn pocketbook.

Government been burning big holes in your pockets but your infrastructure seems to be rotten to the core.

Everything. Every day, and that's even for the days I don't like, like Wednesday. It's always in the middle of the week, and moderation like that pisses me off.

Being a high schooler who doesn't pay the bills, I'm not really sure. So far today, I'd imagine that I've costed no more than five dollars. I got a glass (and a half) of milk, I've used a bit of electricity to keep my laptop/phone charged, and I ate a few kit-kats.

Gas commuting to work is my biggest single daily expense.

On average, breakfast and lunch totals about $3 (employee discount) coffee 60 cents (brewed at home), bottled water (brought from home from a reverse osmosis system off a well in a reusable non-PBA bottle) about $1, dinner about $6-$7. The rest is miscellaneous stuff, like clothing. The house is paid for.

I'd say maybe ~$5 bucks of gas, ~$20 for food, and $9.80 for my 6 pack of Flying Dog IPA.

As much as I make.

food, lodging, utilities, insurances (all), taxes all kinds (local/state/fed), gas, SAVINGS,

One should live within their means. Being debt free is a good thing.

Great commercial, and I like camels. Why they've associated themselves with such a thoroughly discredited day is beyond me though. Saturday should be on Wednesday, and Wednesday should be abandoned. Besides, if 30 hours a week is a full time job, we don't even need 7 days in a week anymore. Just think about how much one could save on a weekly basis if the week was only 6 days long. I'm surprised the Obama administration hasn't floated this idea yet. Sounds like something Biden would offer.

Looks like a few people don't know how to allocate their monthly and yearly expenses to each day's expenses. If your rent is $600/month, then that allocates to $20/day.

The poll question is way to open ended. It is meaningless., imo.

Should I assume here that the amounts you have listed here should be interpreted as the amount more than what I am actually making?

You don't work 30+ hours a week, plus school. Pay for your own clothes, car, gas, insurance and lunch? My God, what kind of kids are we raising today? I tell you, kids these days have it so easy.

I assumed that we were talking about excludable goods, oh well. Anyways, I've probably costed about $15 dollars by now. (At the most)

No, how much does it cost you to live aday. Its not about how much you make.

At least that was my original intention.

I bet it is a fair bit more than that including rent health insurance food and more

Those are excludable goods, yes.

Someone pays it though. Be afraid very afraid of adulthood BWAAAAHAHAHA.

Nah its really not that bad its about the same as being a kid when ya get the responsibility thing figured out.

What's that? I'm not familiar with such a concept. :p

Back in 73 or 74 on $5. per day I did pretty good.

.50 cents for a pack of smokes.

$2.50 for two six packs.

.50 cents for gas.

$2. for food. Usually a Taco Burrito from Taco Bill's at the Hermosa Beach Pier and either a burger or pizza or a sub later on at night when I got the munchies.

Getting high with a little help from my friends and having a girlfriend who had a job helped.

Today and at my age, it's more about coming up with money to pay my taxes.

The US government needs to spend smarter, and you can differ on how that must be done but it has to be done. Than you can investigate if that means lower taxes, the same amount of taxes or more taxes for some and less taxes for others.

I do not live in the lap of luxury but all my family spends is about 25 dollars a day for all our needs. That includes health care, housing, insurance, debt payment etc. etc. etc. and of course daily expenses like food, gas, water and electricity.

My brother lives in Amsterdam teaching art history. I wonder if he is in the 'hood money wise?
