I've previously made it quite clear that I believe any guilt should be ascertained prior to judgement.Since when does wanting to give people a fair trial being a bleeding heart? You can't just execute innocent people. What's the hurry anyway? They've already been there for years and years. What they've been doing all this time when there could have been trials is anyone's guess. Obviously they have no evidence.
Okay. Trial first. Then shoot them. If given a chance, these people would kill you with glee for no particular reason other than you aren't them.
And why did that invasion to their country occur? Was it after they sent their own to kill almost 3000 of ours at the Would Trade Center? To retaliate to such a thing is fair and just. In those countries of the terrorists there were celebrations breaking out in the streets when they saw the death and destruction of thousands of Americans thanks to one of their own. These prisoners at GITMO are there because they helped with this destruction or abetted in promoting it. I'm am really tired of the happy horse **** rhetoric like yours that promotes this thinking that these animals deserve any special treatment. 9/11 was an attack on capitalism plain and simple. The pillars of fanatic Islam are rooted in socialism/communism.How are they terrorists? Would you resist an invasion of your country?

What makes us any more secure if we simply allow it to continue unabated and indefinitely? I understand it's an issue of moral relativism but again, I'd point out that pious platitudes go no way towards addressing crises as they unfold.Well, I'm against the death penalty, so I have to disagree. If we kill them, what makes us any better than them?
Well sugar with your mentality here's hoping they don't wipe out and destroy you next. When dealing with an enemy you have to get to their level in order to be in a position to stop the carnage.I will never understand why people think that lowering themselves to the level of their enemy makes them the bigger man. If anything it makes them just as bad as their enemies.

The very same level they set for us to respond to, I hasten to add. Beheadings and hijacked aircraft are hardly signatures of Western conduct.Well sugar with your mentality here's hoping they don't wipe out and destroy you next. Well...just because they are scum does not mean we have to become it ourselves. If we're really as big and bad as we pretend, we can afford to cut these few people loose. What are you afraid of...I refer you to my earlier post.
On the off chance that no one ever informed you thus, your gushing fount of emotion would inspire no reciprocity in these animals. It's your call. You can continue to chafe beneath the weight of an assumed identity or you can wake the **** up.
A perfect example of proving we are not who we say we are. Killing innocent people---no problem.
Innocent people have been killed in every war the US has engaged. And is still going on today with Obama's drones killing innocent people and killing without a trial. In fact Obama kills them so he does not have to put them in Club Getmo.
Why must we let them live after they've casually dispensed with such high-mindedness? In order that we should satisfy some misplaced, self-congratulatory ideal that our enemies don't share, while giving them the green light for further atrocities? Why do we HAVE to kill them? Why not just lock them away?
Why kill the enemy suddenly become a problem? Those who comprise the camp, never served in the Afghanistan military and never fought with our army face to face. They are bandits- mercenaries, who are not subject to a court-martial and are not subjects of the Geneva convention. Kill them.
Yet the "double standards" among many among us see us as the villain . Every time I engage in such BS it makes me want to reach for the antacids. The very same level they set for us to respond to, I hasten to add. Beheadings and hijacked aircraft are hardly signatures of Western conduct.

No fear. Simply prudence in the face of the same harsh realities you're seemingly more comfortable ignoring. It's interesting that you seek to substantiate your position on the basis of what you consider to be acceptable losses.Well...just because they are scum does not mean we have to become it ourselves. Shadows?
I prefer mockery. :lol:Yet the "double standards" among many among us see us as the villain . Every time I engage in such BS it makes me want to reach for the antacids.
They haven't even been proven to be "the enemy."
At this point, let them go. What can they do to us?
It doesn't really matter what you THINK. You have to prove that they are guilty of something. Being accused is different than being guilty, as has been proven on numerous, numerous occasions.
Again, I believe that in having jettisoned such idealism, their life is forfeit. Why must we let them live? Wow!
The reason why is because we don't have to kill them.
until there is a trial, I cannot tell
