Former Navy UDT (says he was a SEAL but not sure if all former UDT were retroactively considered SEALs) 1969 - 1975, Actor, Wrestler, Mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota from 1991 - 1995, Governor of Minnesota 1999 - 2003. TV show host for Conspiracy Theories with Jesse Ventura.

He has considered running for President before. I'm wondering what your thoughts are about a potential Presidential run for him in 2016?

No thanks. I'll do my best to prevent 9/11 truthers from holding any office of significance.

And why is that? What if there's a chance they're right?

Also - I do not know the answers - so I won't pretend that I do know - I'm just curious as to your thoughts.

For the same reasons I wouldn't vote for a candidate who believes that lizard people control the world's finances.

I actually like the guy but I don't think he is an appropriate or likely candidate for President.

I actualy routed for Obama during the last election because Romney gave me the creeps.

This guy is even more creepy.

My only concern is his athiesm. I don't like to see this nation being turned away from God. And I'm unsure about why he said that he was a SEAL if he was only UDT - ALTHOUGH this last part isn't criticism - just curiosity - it could also be possible that all former Navy UDT were retroactively considered SEALs, due to it being the same training. BUD/S Training DOES in fact stand for Basic Underwater Demolition / SEALs.

I do like the fact that he does not care about catering to political parties, but rather defending freedom and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo and establishment and to also take action to expose corruption in the government. We don't really see President Obama taking any action to stand up to the tyranny in his own administration.

My favorite choice for 2016 is Ted Cruz. Mike Huckabee is good too. But if they nominate Christie, then I'll likely vote for Jesse Ventura - or Gary Johnson.

Oh so you're one of those people who votes based off of personality rather than who would actually lead this country in the right direction? Thanks a lot. It's voters like you who keep helping us elect bad candidates to office.

"I dont care about 49% of the country"

Indeed a very responible way of dealing with the responsibilities that come with being presidential.

.

Actually, Mitt referred to "..47% of the country...."
Ironically, Mitt got 47% of the vote.

Doesnt change the fact that is a pritty irresponsible thing to say.

It sounds more like something Berlusconi would have said.

I firmly believe the Republic will somehow manage just fine without Jesse setting his lunch bag down in the Oval Office.

There isn't a chance that they're right. Bush didn't send in people to paint the place with explosive paint.

Romney never said that.

Romney never said that.

Yeah, he said 47%.and not 49%.

One may think that is not a big difference. but agreed, by a population of 300 000 000 it does make a difference of 2% which is 6 000 000. Which is the population of a small European country or American state.

Post the quote you're referencing and place it in context with any point you're attempting to make...

You say that like it's a bad thing.:peace

I wouldnt mind shagging my way through the most beautifull women of Italy. (they probably would)

But sex with a minor.......
Abusing your power to shape laws to benefit you and your buisness interstes....
Party conections to the most brutal organised crime syndicate on the continent (the Ndrangetah)

that goes several steps to far.

Ventura is way too libertarian for my tastes, but he does have a few good ideas. "Religion is a crutch for weak-minded people." My favorite quote of his.

Mitt Romney never said that he didn't care about 49% of the country. He said that 47% of this country doesn't pay taxes. I could've told you before the primary that Mitt Romney was the worst choice in the primary. Did people listen? Nooooo. Everyone was all "he has the best chance to win the general election!"

Mitt Romney while not a great choice - was still better than Barack Obama.

I corrected myself previously.

Are you a little bit slow?

I used to like Jesse Ventura, but he has veered off in a far more radical direction. If you read about his positions as governor of Minnesota they are reasonable, but now he is focused on conspiracy theories. I'm not sure what happened to him with that Chris Kyle. Supposedly famous SEAL sniper Chris Kyle was at a wake at a bar for a fellow SEAL (which Jesse was at one time) and supposedly Jesse was trashing the war and then said something to the effect of the SEALS deserved to lose a few guys. Supposedly Kyle punched Ventura. Given Ventura's extreme conspiracy theorism, it would not surprise me if he said that. I heard some of the same comments from like minded people saying the insurgents were "freedom fighters" and our soldiers "got what they had coming." I am not sure if he said it or not though, it would be slander if he hadn't.

Either way it is between Jesse and Chris, and Chris Kyle was tragically murdered by a mentally ill man he was trying to help earlier this year. Anyway whether that is true or not, I am not sure why Kyle would make it up. If he were going to try to slander a political figure why wouldn't he claim somebody more prominent than Ventura did it? But I lost a lot of my respect for Jesse Ventura hearing about that. Even so, Jesse is trying to sue his widow. Even if Kyle DID lie about him why couldn't he leave the man's widow alone?
