This could be the worse deal Obama ever made cow tailing to the Iranians....To make a deal like this you have to trust them.

In all reality he probably doesn't trust them, but he trust's the entire middle east not to break down int ww3 even less. He's likely hoping that the treat of a nuke will begin to put down rebellions by establishing a military power that isn't dependent on our military.

I'd rather put it as, "take a chance on peace." The framework of this deal is honestly the only chance there is for a peaceful resolution to the Iran Nuclear issue. Will know in six months if it's for real or not, until then I say it's a win for Obama,

Out of curiosity, have you read what's in the deal?

I don't think there ever should have been any sanctions against Iran. We've been kissing Israel's ass in a metaphorical fashion. We invaded nations on both sides of Iran and it is the Iranians that are taking a chance trusting us.

Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz said Sunday that the Obama administration was naive and had possibly made a "cataclysmic error of gigantic proportions" in its deal to ease sanctions on Iran in exchange for an opening up of the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.

"I think it could turn out to be a cataclysmic error of gigantic proportions," Dershowitz said of the deal, which he described as "naive."

"It could also turn out to be successful, to be the beginning of a negotiated resolution," Dershowitz told Newsmax on Sunday. "But I think the likelihood of it being the former is considerably greater."

Wow a Jew taking the Israeli position. Who would have thought?

Sorry to interject.... but... we may never know the exact situation and terms of this agreement until its too late to correct our stance.

Jus' sayin'

It wasn't simply the Israelis that didn't want Iran to have a Nuke. What is lost in a lot of this discussion is the fact that middle east politics extends to more from just "Israel vs the Rest of us". You think that countries like Saudi Arabia want to see a nuclear armed neighbor that has been known to gin up and support radicals in their midst?

So, basically Dershowitz's professional opinion is that the deal with Iran could be successful. Or not. Wow, that's really...insightful.

You do know that the terms of the agreement have been published, right?

I hope so.

**** Iran though. I hate 'em.

Never forget the kind of vermin they are.

Should have turned that place into a glass parking lot as soon as the hostages returned safely.

It feels a little weird taking Hays' side, but that is actually antisemitic, iguanaman.

How is it wrong to state the obvious? Why else would we be hearing about this from a trial lawyer with no foreign policy credentials? My stepmother is Jewish by the way.

 Isn't it though. That's why I stressed the parts of his statement.... I'm leaning toward very 'iffy'
