I'm shocked no one has posted this since yesterday was the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination.

Too much documented hanky-panky going on at the time of the assassination, too many quirks about Oswald... too many beyond weird coincidences, something it would seem a bit more synchronized about the whole matter...

If there was another option for "I doubt it, but I'm not sure" I'd have voted for that.

I have no clue if Oswald fired the bullet that actually killed Kennedy.

I'm fairly comfortable with the idea that there was a much larger group of people involved than just one guy, with one gun, in one building.

I would tend to go with the Warren report. Of course that is only my gullibility and I am really not sure. But it would have been rather difficult to conceal a nasty involving conspiracy, mobsters and evil nasties for so many years on such an emotionally laden "Who dun it?" that the whole world was following. That is too un-American.

I'm not. So many Americans don't care about any sort of history in this country. I watched the 50th Anny special last night on NBC. It was excellent. But I bet some sitcom or reality show got better ratings.

There was a larger group and it was made up of Oswald and his Soviet/Cuban handlers.

Possibly. Might also have been an inside job. As in, Oswald and his American handlers.

The conspiracy theorist forum is 6 doors down the hall and then to the right. When you get there, tell people you're black so your opinion on the matter will seem untouchable.

I'm always amazed by the number of people convinced there was some gigantic conspiracy. In fifty years, not one credible piece of evidence has surfaced to indicate it was anything other than a single loon with a cheap rifle. Scientific evidence now supports the Oswald conclusion, and the number of eyewitnesses that place Oswald with the rifle and at the scene are fairly numerous. His shooting of Tippitt has an eyewitness (unless, of course, this guy was part of the conspiracy!).

I think there's a deep-seated need to believe that if the President of the United States is murdered, it must take incredible organization involving scores - if not hundreds - of conspirators to accomplish that deed. In fact, it didn't.

Oswald killed him with help, I believe from the Soviets and or the Cubans.

There's no way to know for sure at this point. I suspect that Oswald was part of a larger conspiracy, there were multiple shooters, and a government cover-up afterward (the latter is particularly obvious). But, we simply don't know. It is possible that Oswald acted alone.

Yes he did and acted alone. However, I think Kennedy was made available for the assassination. I believe the motive was Kennedy was not going to intervene in Vietnam, his double-cross on Cuba, and almost starting a nuclear war.

Did Oswald kill Kennedy?

Almost certainly. He tried to kill a right wing general before that. He was a nut who was hellbent on doing something like that, and he had formal firearms training to do it with. It sucks that one person can do something so momentous and horrible, but it is not impossible.

Any other inout, aside from this ingantile, ignorant, niggardly post?

Possibly. Might also have been an inside job. As in, Oswald and his American handlers.

The facts:

Oswald declared himself a Marxist

He immigtated to the Soviet Union

The Soviets "kicked him out" and hr came back to the US with a brand new Russian wife.

He rented a house from a woman who was born and raised on esst Texas, that spoke fluent Russian.

Two months prior to the assassination he eas observed enyering the Cuban embassy in Mexico City several times.

You do the math...

You know apdst, when you keep telling people you're black in debates that have nothing to do with race, and then you explain why someone who isn't black would do it, you expose yourself for what you truly are. In this case, you're a black conspiracy theorist. According to YOUR statements, because you're "black", your opinion is.... what was that word you used? Untouchable ;).

This one voting option is in the category of no **** sherlock.

"No, somebody else did the shooting"

The grassy knoll theory hasn't been disproved to my knowledge, but it doesn't really matter who killed him so much as who put the shooter up to it. Whether it was CIA, the mob, or just oswald acting on his own, i don't know.

The doctor at the hospital that treated Kennedy said the back of his skull was blown out. Think about that. Bullets make a small hole where they go in and big hole where they go out.

I think over the last couple of years when two authors were give exclusive access to all the JFK material that anymore than 3 shots were disproved. All three fired by Oswald. A lot of Oswalt's connections with Cuba and other communist were held back from the people in fear they might be riled up into a war frenzy. This definitely helped build conspiracy.
