Its nice to learn people appreciate me breaking 50 years of silence to finally set the record straight and bring this controversy to a close.

The problem I've always had with it was that it was just so convenient! That always sets off inner alarms...

You people that think everything is a conspiracy crack me up.

I have little doubt that Oswald was the lone shooter that killed Kennedy. However, given his past associations, it would not surprise me to find out that he was acting under the direction of others. Whose direction, I do not know.

Know Bill Hicks? This is a hoot...

Can't get any more convenient than the Invisible Man ! The only time the I M was visible was when he was wrapped in bandages; when he was unwrapped he was running around naked.... hence the sex assault situations. Difficult to pin anything on him being undressed and invisible. :wow::wink:

If there was another option for "I doubt it, but I'm not sure" I'd have voted for that.

I have no clue if Oswald fired the bullet that actually killed Kennedy.

I'm fairly comfortable with the idea that there was a much larger group of people involved than just one guy, with one gun, in one building.

Most, if not all of "these people" are dead by now.
If some men were involved in a conspitacy, why has NO-ONE come forward - 10-20 years ago ??

I'm always amazed by the number of people convinced there was some gigantic conspiracy. In fifty years, not one credible piece of evidence has surfaced to indicate it was anything other than a single loon with a cheap rifle. Scientific evidence now supports the Oswald conclusion, and the number of eyewitnesses that place Oswald with the rifle and at the scene are fairly numerous. His shooting of Tippitt has an eyewitness (unless, of course, this guy was part of the conspiracy!).

I think there's a deep-seated need to believe that if the President of the United States is murdered, it must take incredible organization involving scores - if not hundreds - of conspirators to accomplish that deed. In fact, it didn't.
To further put things to rest....And, I do not know why this has never been tried..
Have a fairly proficient sharpshooter from the same distance and angle, using the same weapon (important !) do the same against a slowly moving target...
If several men cannot replicate , then worms will be everywhere...If they are successful, then doubts should no longer exist.

Possibly. Might also have been an inside job. As in, Oswald and his American handlers.

This is what I believe. There is no way Oswald could have assassinated President Kennedy all by himself.

There was a doctor at Parkland Hospital who wrote a book about President Kennedy's head wound. He said the bullet came from the front and blew the back of his head out. That would refute the bullet coming from the school book depository where Oswald was. His name was Dr. McClelland. He came forward after he was retired, due to fear of his career being destroyed.

really? we set up a moving target at a olympic training camp and used a similar rifle. most of us had no problem making the same shot.

Oswald acted and killed Kennedy alone. It's amazing what one man with a rifle and Marine training can do.

You watched FMJ one too many times buddy:mrgreen:

I wouldn't be suprised if he acted alone or if there was some grand conspiracy. Either way, it's a shame a man like JFK was cut down in his prime like that.

Not really. One man+rifle+Marine Training+crazy= change of course in world history.

The scenario has been recteated probably a dozen times over the past 50 years.

I live in a world where I qualed on the rifle rangr at 29 Palms. I was only pointing out that Oswald didn't have to exactly have to be a world class shooter.

I shot the whole 500 yards. Didn't shoot expert, but I qualified. There was a gunny there that wanted to recruit me for the Corps, but he couldn't find a jar that would fit over my head, so no luck.
