Choice #3 is for people who think that people with common sense tend to gravitate toward a specific political party, or toward a specific political persuasion such as unaffiliated, centrist, moderate, libertarian, liberal, conservative, etc.

No polling option yet.

I tend accept the premise that many times common sense is a worthwhile pursuit. On the other hand, I am also especially aware that many times common sense is neither "common" nor "sensible."

By definition, it's always sensible.

By definition, it's always sensible.

When common sense implies common opinion, in many policy areas, it rarely meets the "chosen in accordance of wisdom" or the "likely of benefit" criteria.

Just seeing the way the majority of people park their vehicles tells me that most people have no common sense.

I have never considered common sense as having anything to do with common opinion. It's like the trait illustrated in the Emperor's New Clothes, it is common sense that allows a person to break with common opinion.

It's frustrating to hear so many dumb down complex problems and claim "common sense" to be the cure for all ailments. More often than not their idea is as damaging or moreso than the "Elites" solution.

I rarely use the term common sense, but I noticed since a child that promotion of common sense was directly tied to common opinion or interpretation.

It's funny when you have to provide a definition for something as basic as 'common sense'.

Common sense doesn't exist. Even the most simple exercises in logical thinking come primarily from being being educated rather than innate understanding.

Tapatalk doesn't display polls, so I'll just say than common sense does not exist. Everyone has a different idea of what everyone else should already know.

Common sense healthcare reform is to simply require everyone to have a policy with minimum standards, allow buying a policy across state lines and offer a tax deduction for said insurance.

No ACA, no single-payer, no exchanges, non of that.

Common sense gun control is including an endorced CCW class to get or renew a driver's license; adopting national recopricity, national Castle Doctrin and national Constitutional Carry.

So basicaly if your not violent, insane or a child, go buy, sell, own and carry whatever you want.

No mag limits, no gun-free school zones, no banning types of guns, non of that.

Judging by how many college grads we turn, it is rare. It is amazing how stupid one can be and still get a degree.

Common sense education reform is to replace public schools with charter/free schools.

The issue of tenure and unions will be handled by each school indivigualy.

Common sense abortion reform is: leave it allone. Its a settled issue. Life goes on.

No ultrasounds unles the doc wants it, no week-long waiting periods, non of that.

Logic and common sense are not the same thing.

Common sense is often a code-phrase in debate for "I've got nothing so I'll claim it ought to be universally accepted anyhow".

No option for nonexistent.

This is what I was talking about in post 5.

Common sense dictates that it is both easier and safer to pull forward into traffic rather than back up into traffic. So why did 17 out of 19 of them park in a manner that forces them to back into traffic? I'd say it is because common sense is a rare trait.

It's kind of funny - a debate about common sense.
When, in definition, it's supposed to be a non-debatable bit of perception or judgment.

"It hurts when I do this"
"...so don't do that."

I back in whenever I can, for the same reason.
