We elect our leaders, they are not hired by individuals. If you can't see the danger there it is because you are blinded by the cause.
I know if Soros was involved in this way you would be upset.
Oh and that poll is poppycock. Conservatism is toast. All this is nothing but a dead cat bounce. Like Jobs said "Death is natures best invention".

To be fair, KOCHsw elect TEAs and now they're unhappy about what the TEAs have done.

DeMint's Heritage Foundation and the Koch's Tea party funding organizations are now expressing remorse at the creation of their TEAsshole anarchists in congress,
They are now afraid that the TEAsshole craziness in the house that they have created may be crazy ENOUGH to actually default on the debt ceiling. That will send the nation, and indeed the world spiraling into a devastating and deep depression.
Even DeMint and the Kochs aren't quite THAT crazy.
The question is now, can anyone stop them?

I've seen more Corporate Welfare than I can stand. This is a percentage shift of monies to people. A potentially good program. Of course, long term, it will be screwed up by politics and vested interests.

In a move that highlights a growing rift in conservative ranks, Koch Industries -- the privately held energy conglomerate owned by billionaires Charles and David Koch -- today distanced the firm from allied political groups lobbying to keep the government shut down unless Obamacare is defunded.

A letter, signed by the company's chief lobbyist and sent to members of Congress, says that Koch Industries has taken no position on the shutdown dispute in Congress "nor have we lobbied on legislative provisions defending Obamacare."

Instead, Koch Industries wants Congress to focus on "balancing the budget" and "cutting government spending," among other goals, said Philip Ellender, Koch Industries president for government and public affairs.

The letter comes in the wake of media reports documenting how Freedom Partners -- a newly formed conservative trade association closely associated with the Koch brothers -- has helped finance many of the conservative and Tea Party groups that have been pressuring Republicans to link defunding Obamacare to the passage of a continuing resolution to fund the government and extend the debt ceiling.

Parts of me want to be proud of the Tea party politicians. I honestly believe the Koch brothers don't want the government to default. Which means they basically bankrolled all these politicians, and the politicians are going in a direction that those who paid their way don't want. The Tea Party politicians showing that they can't be manipulated? Of course, what the Tea Party politicians want to do is still crazy.

If I were in a position where I could profit handsomely with advance knowledge, I would be creating a case for plausible deniability in the event of SEC blowback. But, what the hell do I know. I mean John Paulson made a billion on the last crash, but not because his brother was making the significant economic decisions behind the screen. Luck! Bon Chance! Fate!
