The Olympics is a sporting competition. Politics should not be involved. It was hosted fine in China wasn't it?

The Olympics have always been used as a political tool whether people realized it or not - especially during the Cold War. Not to say that we should boycott the games (i think it'd be stupid) but political considerations are always beneath the surface.

I would be concerned about Russian coaches that defected from Russia years ago going back but that is about all.

You're right, we couldn't back down if that were to happen. I believe it would not take a war to resolve, though. Russia would lose in so many ways worldwide, that even Putin the thug would know better.

We have a secret wqeapon to send in to rescue any athletes that would be taken in this manner.

The Indestructables.
