She's acting entirely irrational and truthfully like a tantruming child. I don't see how he was doing anything wrong from the video. She was already acting like an immature person before he said anything, I don't see how it got "worse" because it started out pretty bad.

/devil's advocate

So what might have happened before the filming began?

I've seen children at grocery stores act like that and their parents chuckle just like the husband does here because, well, what else can they do?

Well, with children, a spanking can follow and the little public tantrum never happens again.

Of course, this is a totally different situation given she's his wife. But damn, she needs to relax. What else can a person do but chuckle, indeed.

I wouldn't expect her to say anything else. A 30 year-old woman who engages in toddler tantrums did NOT suddenly regress to childhood because a trip was cancelled. This is a behavior she has honed her entire life, because obviously it has worked in the past to get her what she wants. A woman who is bullied is fearful and silent. This bitch was not in fear of anything other than not getting her own way.

If she wanted to go to the lake so badly, why did she simply not determine his agenda for the day and then go to the lake?

Having said that, his behavior, although low key, was no better.

All things considered, I still have the impression she thought she was on the way to the lake, and he changed his mind. Some part of the interaction that day is clearly missing.

It appears he promised they were going to the lake - and then while headed there decided he'd rather to get the tires rotated on his truck and other of his own matters - basically having lied to her and now just dragging her along for nothing but a ruined Saturday, and the conversation indicates he does this often.

Exactly.

And them only married fifteen months. Wonder how long they knew each other before.
