I don't think anyone could deny that their shrinking tax base had a devastating effect on the city. They're down over 1,000,000 people. In a city that has an income tax, that's devastating.

Considering that most of those left are negative income tax payers, the equation gets even worse.
 
Unions are a good thing....it protects the people from mistreatment in a workplace....and improves economy by reducing poverty by I increasing flow of money.

Unions are a good thing until they get involved in politics.
