I believe the implication is that gays are more likely to be pedophiles than straights, so we need to protect our children from gays.

The proof is reason--sound argumentation. There is clearly a difference, hence the existence of different words and different definitions accepted by most reasonable people. If you want to say that all of that is wrong, you need to do more than just assert it.

On what logical basis is your opinion grounded on?

Homosexuality is a defect in humans just like it is animals. It has been posted here before but people simply want to be excused for deviant behavior.

I asked for the reason to assume that sexual orientation and sexual behavior are not different things. Whether or not homosexuality is a defect has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not there is a difference between sexual orientation and sexual behavior. On what logical basis is your opinion that there is no difference grounded on?

One has to accept that they are different I do not, those are your definitions of separation. There is no separation when addressing defects.
