Is America still racist? Is a Voting Rights Act still necessary?

My take on the issue is that America is a closet racist and we need another Voting Rights Act. Only the part that says the Justice Department must approve all changes to voting laws should apply to every state.

America has plenty of xenophobes, racists and otherwise. The VRA is no longer about race--it has become nothing but a tool for democrats to have guaranteed seats in the Congress whether those faces are white or black or brown. Like the city that won the case before the SCOTUS, there are places that have had no attempted violations in decades that still had that yolk around their next.

Why the **** do we even have immigration laws? None of this would be happening if we'd simply dissolve our borders.
