I think you're mixing up the hands-off-the-world view of many liberals (and many libertarians, too, I might add) as "support" for Islamic practices, which is absurd. Liberals expect women to be able to make medical and reproductive decisions about their own body, conservatives don't. Liberals expect women to get treated equally in the work place, conservatives don't. Why in the living name of hell do you believe liberals would support a government that not only kept women in the kitchen raising babies (as many conservatives feel, too), as well as restricting their education and even their dress in public when liberals believe in equal rights for women (for everyone, really!) and reproductive freedom???


You've shown just how partisan conservatives can be by promoting your twisted views in this thread. Conservatives are by far closer to Islamic principles than liberals. It's not liberals standing up in Congress quoting the Bible or liberals on the Science Committee that believe in a Young Earth because the Bible says so.

Just one day I'd like to see the "political leans" fail to load on the site. How would posters like you and Doobie function? How would you be able to distinguish friend from foe...which arguments you should even be using...if you were forced to respond to a debater's position instead of their stated political leans?

If I change my lean to "Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs Liberal," will you and Doobie listen to what Liberals' actual position on Islam is, or will you still insist on heeding what right wing columnists tell you liberals believe anyway?

He is not the only person I have noticed that with. There must me a democratic underground memo circulating "pretend you are a conservative who agrees with all the liberals and then it makes our cause seem more mainstream" or something.

You're in the wrong thread. That's an editorial about Benghazi. This thread (remember? You started it -- have you forgotten the subject of your own thread?? is a poll on who would prefer one world rule under Islam.

Actually we're both right where we need to be. I am discussing your obsession with radical Islam's defense, and you are trying to run interference. As I said earlier: when you break it all down, the Left seems to be deeply infatuated with Islam, and its radical arm. It's not a stretch for you to say "And just WTF is wrong with Islam?" as the Imams are orchestrating the takeover of your country.
