Would you support a single world goverment system under Islamic rule?

Would you support a single world government under Islamic rule?

LOL. Cant wait for you next poll. Let met guess. "would you support a single world ruled by decepticons" or "would you support dogs being appointed to the supreme court." Thanks for the comedy.

You just did.

Population modelling is fraught with artificiality. It's the ultimate paper argument. A vacuum of supposition and irresponsible extrapolation. What some nowadays put a trendy spin on and refer to as 'diversity', is no more than a continuation of a historically ubiquitous feature.

For the record, do you support Democracy?

:lamo Complaining and offering insight and sharing observations are not the same thing. That is unless one holds some sort of dislike for Muslims or for some unexplained reason have arbitrarily concluded I do. I've stated in the past, some of the kindest people I've ever met are Muslims.

For the record, do you support Democracy?

Is that a trick question? I support constitutional government by the consent of the governed, like what America is based on if that's what you're asking. There's a political constituency who get bogged down on semantics and define democracy as mob-rule so just making sure we're talking about the same thing.

One could only hope. :doh

I can empathize, actually. Any time there's a poll question that is essentially the equivalent of "Do you believe ninja robots from the future should enslave us and process us into a delicious pâté?" well, I think at least a few people are obligated to vote "yes."

Mark Steyn once alluded to the notion that liberals, in general, wouldn't really care if the world were ruled by Islam. Those weren't his exact words, but that was the general idea. I wanted to test his theory.

I think this Mark Steyn might be an idiot.

I thought I detected some reproach beyond any mere commentary. Forgive me if I impugn you unjustly.

No trick question. I consider myself answered in full.

Cool username and av, btw. LOTR pwns.

Not no but hell no. I would give my life to help fight to preserve my way of life and stop an Islamic caliphate from ruling the world.

Most Conservatives would. It's the libs that bring up all the question marks. Sure, on the surface, the op is in your face and absurd, even for liberals. But when you break this culture down and get a good look at some of its finer points, objections from the Left become far less pronounced, or even non-existent. Take Hamas, for example: I don't see any arguments against that group coming from their side.

"Even"...for liberals? How about especially for liberals? Islamic principles are about as far from liberalism as you can get, and the fact that you would confused our lack of xenophobic desire to rid the world of Muslims as de facto support for the Islamization of the world is a fault of your misunderstanding of the issue. However, there are more than enough talk show hosts and columnists who are more than happy to take a complex issue and break it down into a digestible format that allows you to easily dismiss liberal positions, and I suspect that is what has happened here.

Islam is, by its nature, a conservative faith.

Liberals do not object to Islam in any shape or form, outside of the original post. And I seriously doubt they would actively oppose Islam's bid for world domination, as well. At worst, they would seek an alliance.

Sure. Keep believing that. It's obvious that even after I just stated that "Islamic principles are as far from liberalism as you can get" and you respond by regurgitating the same argument, that you have every intention of doing so anyway.

It would have to be incremental, of course. There's no way that even liberals would stand for a take over bid tomorrow. And yes, in theory, liberalism is antithetical to Islam, but still, there are zero objections .... just sympathy. It's bizarre, when you actually think about it.

If you are confusing what liberals believe about Islam with what somebody is telling you liberals believe about Islam, then yes, I can understand how the end result can seem rather bizarre. However, if you just talk to a liberal you may get an answer that, while not nearly so black and white, will certainly be more accurate.

The question is, what do you want to believe? What a liberal tells you he believes about Islam, or what a conservative commentator tells you liberals believe about Islam? If it's the former then hey, here I am. If it's the latter then I can't help you.

I'm sorry, but the only source I can truly rely on is what I see when liberals are not up in arms. Of course your opinions about Islam harden when your patriotism is called into question. No, I'll just stick with what's being said, or not being said, when your defense is down. ;)

I haven no idea what that means. It seems from this post that you are more interested in your own (or others') interpretation of liberal positions than in any sort of dialogue with liberals directly. Is that true?

I think you do know what it means, as this feigned ignorance is exactly what I am talking about.

So you don't want direct dialogue, just the regurgitated opinion pieces of conservatives. Why are you here then? Is Lucianne still operational? It's a conservative echo chamber that bans members for making liberal posts, and from the sound of it you'd be right at home there.

BULL!

Example. There is no unemployment in the Muslim country of Bahrain. Know why? They kick out any man who doesn't have a job. What do you think Muslims would do to men who didn't have a job if they ran the world?

Women treated like crap in Muslim countries. Liberals support full equality of women to men. Liberal women are most likely to be feminists, not something supported by Islam. Homosexuals are killed in many Muslim countries. Liberals support gay rights heavily. Liberals support keeping religion out of schools, not just Christianity, but all religions. Not something Muslims are for.

Your view of liberals is very far detached from reality.

I missed the poll feature somehow. Sorry about that.

i wouldnt support any government under any religious rule

He's referencing an anger-commentator named Mark Steyn. It's really standard divisive Hannity/Coulter kind of stuff.

I dont want direct bull****. Take your political leaning for example. You have yourself listed as very conservative when anyone can detect your liberalism within 45 seconds of conversing with you? Do you think you're being funny? How can anyone take you serious when youcant, or wont, evem get your political leaning right?
